I know exactly how that feels because I went through every emotion myself when I was younger — nerves, rejection, uncertainty and constantly wondering: “What do I actually need to do to get my opportunity?” I also saw what my dad went through trying to help me. So if you are not actively showcasing yourself, promoting yourself and creating opportunities, there is a very real chance clubs will never even know you exist.
