Where are you from?
Hi, internet friends! May i ask you a question? Please post in the comments where you come from. This way, we can see where all the members are coming from. Afterward, take a look through the comments and feel free to like or say "hi" to members who are from your area. I'm super curious to see where you're all from and will read every single comment. Let's see which continent is dominating in this community! GG 💃

@Goda Go I thought that you were American, you speak perfectly american 😗
Would you want to train AI on your own face?
Use Case: I kind of have a new face. A little bit. Which means all the old photos is not how I look now. Solution_1: Book a photoshoot to get professional photos (would take at least 10h counting research, communication, make up, hair, traveling etc...) Solution_2: Take bunch of selfies with an Iphone and train a custom model, hunt for a good upscaler (I just started, spend yesterday 2h including training, prompt design, and finding an upscaler with potential) It's wild. And before you run saying photographers are out of job.. Photographers have an eye... they can prompt stuff like: "Shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, 85mm f/1.2 lens, at f/1.8, 1/125 sec, ISO 100." And they can take their real photoshoot photos, train a model, and boom - output whatever variation a person wants. Change outfits. Change makeup. Change expressions. I trained models when stable diffusion came out. All the way back to 2022. On Google Colab. hah Gosh, now it is so much more enjoyable. So, any artists, designers, photographers, marketers or... models in the community? Have you trained your custom model, and if yes how? I will share my workflow in the comments also, but what to hear your experience first. ❤️ p.s. fun fact, a lot of open source models have been trained on insane amount of "corn" so... as a female "character" I have to prompt it explicitly to dress me up :D you will see.. And mind you... what can I get out of it if I spend 10h?? 🤯

Hey you look so beautiful! I thought it was a real pic 🙄 I haven't tried yet (can't decide which AI is the best) but I've heard about Recraft. And Flux 1.1 is insane for the images!

Will you be able to talk us about fal ai ?
Well Well Well.. Devin, the first AI Engineer is here. 👀
Remember Devin? It is here now... so let's see if this video I made 8 months ago has aged like a good wine. Disclaimer, I don't know yet if Devin is good or not. Maybe we will drop $500/m to test it for you guys... @Sjoerd Tiemensma 👀 But what I know is this: 1. It's soon 2 years, and still, the pined comment on Andrej Karpathy X says this: "The hottest new programming language is English" 2. Yesterday on AI Productivity Hub (Plus) we used Aider to build a snake game, all while programming with "English" and even voice. 3. Devin will be used not only by developers, it is "turning developers into entrepreneurs" (as one person said) and I would add "it is another tool to allow ⭐️everyone⭐️ to build software & be entrepreneurial". 4. I have seen people who never coded in their life build solutions, save 100h hours of manual work, automate workflows etc. The future is here. And it does not need to be overwhelming. We are all here to navigate this new paradigm with you. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts? The mission of this group is: - enable everyday professionals who don't code, - to turn ideas into solutions with no-code solutions - to be competitive in the market, - never lose your job, - and get more done, better & faster. Devin could be another tool in the tool stack enabling us to code with English. My take in the comments ⬇️

Team, we have a ❤️ Mental Health tag & Dr in the house 🥳
There is no productivity, no personal development, no career growth, no following your dreams & aspirations without feeling well & supported. In this post, I want to introduce you to a new initiative by a community member @David C-k: About @David C-k : Please meet, Dr David Crepaz-Keay FRSPH; Head of Research and Applied Learning, Mental Health Foundation. Just for clarity, the Dr. is academic, not clinical. (p.s. 100 respect points to @David C-k for making this distinction) → I'm a Public Mental Health specialist and worked as senior mental health advisor to Public Health England's Every Mind Matters work. → I have also been a technical advisor to the World Health Organisation, and have been a co-chair of the International Society of Psychiatric Genetics Ethics and Policy Committee. → I am an editor of the Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice → and an editor of the Oxford Handbook of Philosophy and Public Mental Health where I'm leaving the section on future and emerging issues which will include a number of chapters on: 👉 mental health in the digital age. 👈 → I also have a particular interest in self-management and power support - what we can do to look after our own and reach others' mental health. Now... why I am super excited about this: 1. @David C-k brings years of expertise, and research to critical topics like the crossroads of mental health & digital age. 2. I have never talked about this, but I have struggled with depression in 2021. I think my therapist did phenomenal work to get me functional & help me navigate it. But I was also blessed to have the means and access to this help. 3. I hear so many cases of people using AI tools for their mental health. What will be the impacts of that is extremely interesting to me. 🚨 How to use this tag: 1. Approach it with kind heart as any other place in this community. 2. Share your ideas, what helped you & start discussions etc. 3. Ask for help, share what is blocking you from progressing further, etc. 4. @David C-k will own the tag, so he is your first touch point, but I welcome anyone to join in the conversation & get involved!

It would be interesting to know whether people here in the Balkans face this kind of problem. Because they're much less isolated than in the West. It's a former communist country, and today they live very much as a family (in the same house or neighborhood) and there's always someone to look after the children, for example.
Bots are Fabulous! Hello from a French Digital Nomad living in the Balkans
I set up my own business as as a web-editor and copywriter. Since discovering automated systems, I've changed direction to AI. I know that it's gonna be crazy!

@Goda Go Oh definitely no, my job (only copywriting for me, not clients) is not dead. I use AI a lot to get ideas from an idea I've had, or to develop content that I then arrange, in short it's magic! I offer automations on Make and I'm currently preparing my main service, on one niche.
