The Firmament? 🤔
Raqi'aa רקיע, the word for "expanse" (misunderstood as a firmament) is rooted from /rqʕ/ and its etymological derivation is from /rq/. Its Semantic value is expressed as /rqʔ/ and /rqq/ in the spectrum of "Semitic" languages, and they collectively denote "a flattened cauldron shaped object with the capacity of sprinkling, inferring gyroscopic movement. The raqi'aa was positioned in the mesosphere, otherwise known as the area between the exosphere (waters above) and the troposphere (the waters beneath), an atmospheric terrain replete with static electrical charges serving as a medium between our domain and the domain of the object that constructed it from above. °By the way, the mesosphere is the "earth" of concern in creation mythology. Where y'all get the idea that it is speaking on the whole planet is beyond me. °Mind you, the mesosphere when observed from the underworld (our terrain) appears as two (2) heights, which is the exact semantic value of the term "שׁמים" - which also happens to be exactly what the deity called the edifice after it was constructed (Gen 1:8). Where you folk get the entire universe from that idea, I have no clue. There are various descriptions of this edifice throughout the text (mentions it more than anything else, honestly), but the most vivid can be found in Ezekiel 1. וָאֵ֡רֶא וְהִנֵּה֩ ר֨וּחַ סְעָרָ֜ה בָּאָ֣ה מִן־הַצָּפ֗וֹן עָנָ֤ן גָּדוֹל֙ וְאֵ֣שׁ מִתְלַקַּ֔חַת וְנֹ֥גַֽהּ־ל֖וֹ סָבִ֑יב וּמִ֨תּוֹכָ֔הּ כְּעֵ֥ין הַחַשְׁמַ֖ל מִתּ֥וֹךְ הָאֵֽשׁ׃ "And I looked and behold a wind, a torrent came from הַצָּפ֗וֹן (from צוף, "to overlook"; directionally, _Latitudinal North_ (straight above)); a great cloud and fire grasping itself and its brilliance was surrounding it. And in its center, it was as an Eye of Topaz in the midst of the fire." While the verse above and the concept of the raqi'aa seem separate, let us compare: °A "torrential wind from directly above" is related to the wind of God fluttering upon the face of the waters (Gen. 1:2c).

I love this breakdown because I can literally visualize the Hebrew wording you’re using and research it from there for further analysis. I’m grateful I’ve found you and honored to have you as a resource on my journey. ✨🥹💯💯
