Hey everyone! 🤍 I'm Merey, I'm originally from Kazakhstan, currently based in Sydney doing my Master's in AI/ML. Right now I'm building toward a Product Management role in tech/AI, bridging the technical and strategy sides of things, and that's honestly where I feel most alive. I have some concrete goals of mine and I'd say this is my winter arc (but in Australia we passed winter 2 weeks ago, hehe): land a PM offer, or at least a strong pipeline of interviews, by growing a real LinkedIn presence and starting my visibility on social media. Yesterday I took the Gallup CliftonStrengths test and my #1 strength came back as Ideation which is basically connecting dots between things that don't obviously belong together. People have told me this my whole life without me having a name for it, so it was a fun "oh THAT'S what that is" moment. It ties into why I'm so drawn to the human side of building a career right now too as charisma, networking, the art of conversation, social capital, etiquette, not in a performative way, more like understanding how people actually build trust and connection with each other. I'm really happy to connect with all of you guys, and I'd love to ask you for some social media (especially TikTok and Instagram) growth tips and strategies, perhaps some videos or resources. Hi everyone, have a nice day! I am a new member here and would like your advice. My dear sister kindly invited me to attend the commemoration of the Republic of Korea's National Foundation Day at a diplomatic hotel event. The Korean ambassador is going to be there, as well as probably more diplomatic personnel. She signed me up as her guest; she was invited as the president of the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) commission in my country, so it's her evening. I am building a career in politics, so it's a kind gesture of hers. However, I cannot see how I can network in the professional sphere and not overshadowing the middle man/guest/diplomat (in this case, it's my beloved sister). So, ladies, how do you manage to network without making the middle man/guest/diplomat feel displaced? I thought I would act as her liaison, taking pictures and supporting and cheering her on. Then I could take pictures with the ambassador and post them on LinkedIn, presenting myself as my sister's assistant for the event. However, in my experience, this has led to me being perceived as useful to the diplomat, without leading to me gaining any networking contacts or actual opportunities... I would love to hear your approaches, advice or ideas, because it would help me a lot, not only in this situation. P.S. This also includes the outfit for the event. I already know that I am going to contrast with her. My approach is professional and functional, while my sister's is artistic and design-focused. Warmly, Nicole.

my italian friends here in georgia are scaling a brand, their product is lymphatic drainage drops (from everything like bloating, puffiness etc etc). Asked them for a sample - they gave me their test sample to try out, and my bloating went away within a dayyyyy (I always feel way much more elegant when I'm not bloated ahah). Hi ladies! My name is Lisa, and I’m so excited to be here with you all. I’m from the U.S., on the East Coast in Maryland, near Washington, D.C. One of the things I’m discovering in this season of my life is that I don’t have to do everything myself. I’m learning to slow down, make room for the things I love, and build a life that feels spacious rather than rushed. My dream morning looks something like waking up early, working on a book while the house is quiet, and then making breakfast for my family and spending the day nurturing and loving them. I’d love to have the freedom to create content, travel occasionally for a conference, come home to my family and my garden, take lessons, run, swim, and learn. I’ve also recently fallen in love with the world of Jane Austen. I’ve always been a fan of Pride and prejudice, but now my current favorites are Sense and Sensibility and Mansfield Park. I’ve found myself noticing qualities in some of the characters that I deeply admire. For this season, I’m working toward a few things: finishing the first draft of a novel, editing my memoir, marrying my person (I'm currently single), building endurance through daily running, incorporating strength training, and continuing to learn German. I'd like to become more elegant and refined. Some of the things I’m praying for are a beautiful, stately home for my family, a new chapter in a different place, financial stability, and, very specifically, a frost-blue Tesla. ☺️ I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all and hearing about the lives you’re creating, too. 🤍
