Gloves
I prefer my students ride with gloves as it gives you a better feel and connection through the reins. Do you prefer to ride with gloves? https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1GfjZ5Crnm/

Not sure, these last couple of lessons are the first time I've had to wear gloves while riding. As far as I'm aware, my issue is keeping my fingers closed so the reins don't slip out of them...😅

Taking this from Morgan. Food for thought.

Honestly, no matter how bad my day has been, being with/on a horse always makes me feel better.

Update
Hi everyone, I haven't been around for awhile - it's gotten a bit busy over here in Qatar. It's quite surreal - Iran are still doing their best to blast us with missiles but it doesn't feel like it. We get alerts on our phones when there's something to worry about then we all hunker down safely, wait for the booms and then on goes life again. We can still get pizza delivered (I haven't - I've made it from scratch!) so how bad is it if that's still going on?! Anyway, the start of the war stopped my new boy being transported and quite rightly too. The missiles started on the last Saturday of Feb and Tor was due to be transported on the Monday. We collectively decided it would be too dangerous but in the meantime have continued sorting out everything he'd need to come. Today export permits were issued and he should be being loaded onto the truck in Dubai as we speak! But in true Middle Eastern fashion, no-one is keeping me up-to-date so I actually have no clue what's happening 🙄 If all goes well, he should be with me some time tomorrow after being transported by road from Dubai, through the UAE, via Saudi Arabia and then into Qatar. It's a journey that will take well over 8 hours by car, so by horsebox we can add on at least another 4hrs - the poor boy will be exhausted. Then it's straight into quarantine here where I can pile on the love, massages, and chill time. It'll be at least 10 days before I ask anything of him in terms of work - but I'm not a hard task master anyway 😂 Fingers crossed he'll be with me soon ❤️
