Where to start in the classroom depends on where you're at
Two courses are now up in the classroom. Most parents land at one of two points: ✅ Either you suspect something is wrong with your child but you don't know what. Maybe a mental health issue or strange behavior that makes no sense. Or maybe a mental health crisis and you can't find answers. ✅ Or you have a PANS or PANDAS diagnosis but your child isn't getting better or you want to understand the root cause of the illnesses. There's a starting point for each. So you can learn what this is, or what it could be, and then find the right specialists and root cause treatments without being in the dark. It's Not In Their Head is for you if there's no diagnosis yet, or your child is in crisis, or you want to understand how this could be a physical illness rather than a psychological one. Symptoms vs Systems is for you if your child already has a PANDAS or PANS diagnosis. It's about why that diagnosis is so hard to treat with standard approaches, and a diagnosis that sits alongside it with a published treatment protocol behind it. If you're unsure, start with It's Not In Their Head. Or tell me in the comments where you're at and I'll point you in the right direction.

As a teacher, I find this so interesting! Sometimes students start behaving differently, and both the parents and I wonder what happened. For me, learning from the course "It's Not In Their Head" will be so valuable!
What do you need now?
All day yesterday in my region we had a huge amount of rain and then a power outage last night for at least 6 hours or more. This morning I'm seeing post after post on Facebook about flooded basements, and in some homes the water came up through the toilets. That's sewage. Endotoxins, not just mold and biotoxins, and they drive immune activation on their own. Most people have no idea how dangerous this is to their health. Water sitting in an enclosed space for 48 hours is all it takes. After that, microbial growth follows, whether anyone can see it or not. For PANDAS and PANS kids, the very first step to recovery is getting into a clean environment. We cannot heal in the environment that made us sick. If you watched the first video series, Symptoms vs Systems, you'll understand that toxic load is the reason our kids are getting sick. And water damaged buildings are a big part of that load. One of the biggest missing pieces in the PANS and PANDAS treatment world is the foundation in the CIRS world. Every single CIRS protocol starts the same way: Dr Nathan, Dr Crista, Dr McMahon, Dr Holtorf, Dr Shoemaker, Dr Hoffman - all of them. Different treatments, different sequencing, different opinions on almost everything else. But every one of them removes the exposures before treating anything. And that includes biotoxins. Nobody argues about that part. You cannot detox a child faster than a building is loading them back up. I know how impossible that feels when you're in the middle of a crisis. When my son, Jayden was in extreme flares for years, I was trying to hold my family together and figure out how to clean up our environment at the same time and that was traumatizing on its own. I have so much information to give you and help guide you through this illness. But I want to give you what you need most RIGHT NOW. Tell me what you need first.

If the environment is not healthy, everyone will get affected sooner or later.
❤️ START HERE ❤️
Welcome to More Than a Meltdown. If you're here, you're not waiting for someone to hand you a diagnosis or a protocol. You want to understand what's actually happening inside your child, and you're willing to do the work to get there. This is a research and education community. Everything in it is built so you can see your own child's picture clearly instead of guessing at it. 👉 Start in the Classroom Begin with It's Not In Their Head. It covers why the behavior was never behavior, what's happening in a body that can't recover the way it should, and why standard labs keep coming back normal when your child clearly isn't. Then move on to Symptoms vs Systems, which builds on it. Watch them in order. Everything else stands on those. This group is new, so I'm still adding research, courses and resources. The Screening Guide in Tools and Resources will help you find your next steps, and if you're not sure where to start, ask me in the community and I'll help you. Now introduce yourself. Drop a comment below and tell me what brought you here, and the one thing you most want to understand. I'm so happy to have you here.
