Cheer coaches: What is the most challenging barrier you face getting your cheer team to condition? Is it their attitude towards conditioning? Administration not letting you use the weight room? something else? Let me know in the comments!

@Cindi Bradshaw I think these are the biggest 2 issues most coaches have for sure. Why do you think their attitude is so negative towards conditioning? Any ideas or suggestions on how we can go about improving athlete buy in?

@Peyton Nguyen that can be so frustrating. The saying goes “day by day nothing changes but looking back and everything is different.” When you’re in the day to day you don’t feel like it’s working and you may even feel like you get worse at times. That’s normal. The real change happens once you’ve stayed consistent for many months and years. It can be hard to stay consistent if you’re focused on results. Start to learn how to enjoy the process more and the results will ironically come easier!
