I’ve been given the opportunity to really find out what I should be doing WHAT I WOULD LOVE YO DO…with my life, and it wasn’t good luck that got me here. On the contrary, I was fired from what I deemed the perfect bartending job, but the worst possible shifts. I thought I could wait it out and “pay my dues” AGAIN at my new location, but I got screwed and they never even acknowledged how they baited and switched me. In the past year, I ’ve withdrawn from friends, family, and the world in the because I was so miserable and broke, and humiliated at how my dream transfer of locations turned into the worst possible shift and severest cut in tips. I haven’t even been able to get my hair cut in a year!! My income fell 75%, and I have no one to split expenses with. It’s all on ME. I got fired 3 weeks ago, and my unemployment benefits will cover my expenses while I do some soul searching. I’ve already been living a bare bones existence, so I won’t have to change much. I am at a crossroad. Do I take this opportunity to find an amazing job in my current field, but only interview for the shifts and venues I want. Stay here and buy a condo in Vegas? Do I try and change fields at 55 and turn my love for music and travel and find a way to break into production management, my love for canniabis to start in that field? But, I’ve also thought about the freedom I now have to work on myself, my nervous system, my home, and reinvent my career path using my Master’s in Education, bar management skills, live for music and travel, and longing to return to my parents homeland of Greece. What if I could find a job that would pay me to relocate to Greece to teach English. I could get a part time job bartending. I don’t know. I’m just really glad I found this page, and I look forward to doing the work with you!
