Learning a new language as an adult can feel overwhelming. Time, work, kids, moving abroad, bureaucracy, self-doubt, hearing or memory challenges… plus so many courses and apps to choose from. I’ve felt many of these myself while learning 11 languages, and I see them every day with my Unschoolers. But here’s what I know: When you finally have real support, someone who understands how you learn, where you are in life, and what’s holding you back, everything changes. Portuguese starts feeling like your language. You stop chasing perfection and start finding your voice. I can’t help everyone this deeply (that’s what I do with my Portuguese Unschoolers), but this Sunday I’m opening a space for you to ask me anything about learning Portuguese.
