Yesterday ended with a bunch of excitement around here which ended in a trip to the ER to get a mechanical issue fixed. It really underlined that I am here for a reason. It also highlighted for me that it's much harder to do life alone. Stuff happens. It happens in life and it happens in business. That "Oh Shit" moment when you realize you're standing there with your pants around your ankles holding your catheter tube running out of your back that you've just broken. Having help right there when he needed it - yeah that vindicated my presence (which he does appreciate, but it's hard to have another person in your space) but it also made me realize that's what I do - in business and in my life.
