New girl on the block
Hi there! Super new and have been racking my brain and looking at every post I can. I have several qs: Im looking for ghkcu but I do not understand how to use it (constitute if you will?) . Im unsure if I should try glow/klow.. Idk if I should use bac water or the other liquid that I dont know the name of... I just need some help lol. I dont understand all the measurements... please! I have been researching for months and just need someone to hold my hand lol. I did see on Derek's site is where you can purchase things ..thank goodness for that but the measurements confuse the crap outta me! Tia!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

@Tabi Flores I read all the info you provided, congrats on the upcoming wedding! I have the 50mg vial and I am trying to figure out how much BAC. Obviously max is 3ml but i'm trying to avoid the burn. When you recon with 3ml BAC, is it spicy? I want to avoid transferring to a bigger vial if possible
GHKCU
Can I put GHKCU in a bigger vial and reconstitute?

@Derek Pruski If you keep it in the original 3ml vial do you mix with 3ml BAC? I'm hoping to avoid the sting
Sterilized Cartridges
I feel like I am overthinking this too much… So what’s everyone actually doing with their cartridges? Are you just trusting that they come sterilized from the vendor? Because just seeing the color strip on the packet change doesn’t necessarily mean it’s truly sterile. I’ve been reading that some people are running them through an Instapot or even a tabletop autoclave that can hit the right PSI. But here’s the issue — the packets still come out damp. And moisture acts like a sponge that can pull bacteria back in. That’s why in medical settings, damp packs are automatically considered non-sterile. Even if you dry them in the oven afterward, there’s still that window of time between the Instapot/autoclave and when you lay them out — which is enough for bacteria to get drawn in. So I’m just curious — what’s everyone else doing? Are you trusting the vendor’s sterilization, or are you re-sterilizing somehow?

@Derek Pruski I meant that in a nice way.. 😂 like thank you for the vendor info. I get what you’re saying about the color strip, but from what I’m reading, that’s only a chemical indicator. All it really shows is that the pack was exposed to heat or steam… not that it actually hit the right pressure/temperature for the right amount of time, or that the steam fully penetrated. In medical and lab settings, they use biological spore tests to confirm sterilization, because the color alone doesn’t guarantee it. So just relying on the strip isn’t necessarily proof that the cartridge is sterile. So I was wondering if people are just trusting the color strips or actually trying to sterilize the carts on their own and if so, how?

@Derek Pruski I see what you’re saying, but from what I’ve read, the main issue is moisture. In sterile processing, any damp pack is considered non-sterile, even if it’s sealed, because moisture can act like a wick and draw bacteria in through the pores of the pouch. That’s why autoclaves built for medical/dental use include vacuum and drying cycles …just cooking in an Instant Pot and letting it cool doesn’t guarantee sterility. So I don’t think just relying on “cooling in the pouch” is really safe if true sterility is the goal. But if this is what everyone is doing and there is no issues I can understand that, I just think it’s incorrect to portray as the product being truly sterile. I’m an overthinker so I’m making this process harder than it needs to be in fear that I won’t truly be sterilizing my carts with the instapot and doing more harm Than good. Unfortunately I already purchased 100 carts so now I’m trying to figure out how to sterilize them

@Nancy Cruz If this announcement doesn’t cure at least three of my problems, I’m suing for emotional damages
3ml cartridges
When you purchased your cartridges if the vendor says they are sterile do you just trust that or do you rest? Sterilize your cartridges? What is everyone doing? I’m new to the pen world and not sure where to purchase a cartridge from or how to trust it.
