I’m not doing coaching calls anymore... WE are!
Much as I love to present and teach, I'm feeling that our monthly coaching calls are turning into more of a one-woman show than the collaborative exchange I originally envisioned. The current structure doesn’t lend itself to give each of you an active role in these calls. I don't mean "active" = more work for you. I'm talking about giving you the sourdough starter to bake your own gorgeous loaves we can all share in the course of that hour. Sooooo..... let's shake things up! In order to make these sessions more collaborative, inclusive, and FUN, let's feed that starter by exploring new topic formats where you get to bring your ideas, experiences, and your unique genius to the table. Think less "Carole Hour" and more "Power Hour" - an intentional (yet structured and facilitated) space to swap ideas and take our collective learning to a whole new level. I'll need your help to make that happen, so please weigh in by voting in the comments. Here are some thoughts for upcoming calls (Starting September 2025): 1. "Ask Me Anything" Mini Masterclass: One member volunteers to give a 15 minute “teach” on something in their zone of genius, then we ask them questions. Topics can range anywhere from tech questions to budget hacks to cooking tips, anything that's actionable. 2. Member Guest Speaker Highlight: I invite one member to share their journey as I interview them - what worked, what surprised them, and what they’re working on next. 3. Book Bites: Members send in a short excerpt from a go-to book that has impacted them before the call, then we unpack it together - journal, discuss, explore what action we can take. This is Study Group on steroids. 4. Themed Roundtables: Choose from themes before the call (via poll). The call itself will kick off with a theme-based thought provoking question(s) and the call members now become the panel, weighing in with their insights. 6. Creative Pop Sessions: Members get 3 or 4 "out-of-left-field" prompts (“If money were a person, what would it eat for breakfast and why?”), we take 3 minutes to either write or draw our responses, then reconvene and share. Expect fun, laughs, and a great way to sharpen our imagination.
