Back from the river.
Gear's unpacked, Dog's passed out. Tina's already talking about the next one. That's how you know it was a good trip. 😄 What did your Sunday look like today? 👇 Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!! Stay Rugged.

Keep the adventures coming! Yay for River having a great trip!
Tent on the riverbank tonight.
Crickets going. Hoot owl so close it felt like he was in camp with us. That right there is why we do this. 🌙 What’s the sound that puts you out the fastest out there? 👇 Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!! Stay Rugged.

The perfect creek or river ... not too loud, not too quiet.
It's Saturday morning, any great weekend adventures planned?
We are packing up for another canoe camp today, still have not decide the river yet. May try out the Suwannee since Tina has never been on that one.

Got me singing again! I've been away the last couple of weekend so this weekend is staying home to "catch up" and integrate the new dog into our home routine a bit more. And at least one forest hike a day ... maybe a beach wander too.

@Rodney Thompson Outdoor Skills oh yeah!!!
What is you first camping memory?
Mine is a popup camper with my family on the St Marys river. I had to be 7-8 years old maybe? I remember my grandpa driving super fast to get through a mud hole and hit a stump and tore his truck up.

I grew up boating camping since I was a baby so there was no "first" memory... Lakes in Ontario. My first backpacking was in BC. And winter snow cave too. That was cool!

I froze! We were in a gully climbing a peak with a group I'd never been with before and communication could have been better .... rock came down towards me and I froze! I felt so stupid and helpless. It did actually hit my shin too ... thankfully not seriously but a reminder of how our nervous system can take over!
