🎬 7 DAY VIDEO CHALLENGE: DAY 2 - Find Your Perfect Filming Spot
Yesterday you crafted your perfect one-sentence pitch. If you missed it, go back to DAY 1 by clicking here. Today, we're focusing on where you'll shoot your videos! Your Day 2 Challenge: Find the perfect spot with good natural lighting for all your future videos. Why Lighting Matters Poor lighting can make even the best content look unprofessional. As I show in this video, shooting in a dark hallway creates unflattering shadows and makes it difficult for viewers to connect with you. The Window Trick The simplest solution is to stand directly in front of a window during daylight hours. This natural light will: - Evenly illuminate your face - Help you become the brightest part of the frame (making you the clear focus) - Make it easier for your camera to focus - Create a more authentic yet polished look Your Action Items: 1. Find a window in your home or office with good natural light 2. Test how you look standing directly in front of it 3. Make sure the background is relatively clean and uncluttered 4. Take a test photo or short video clip to see the results Homework: Comment below with where your dedicated filming spot will be EXTRA CREDIT: post a short video showing off your new filming spot. Do it "selfie" style like I did. Remember, this simple change will dramatically improve your video quality without requiring any expensive equipment! See you tomorrow for Day 3!

Are Your Videos Too "Salesy"? Here's Why...
Hey friends! I wanted to share a quick but crucial insight I'm noticing as you work through the 7-Day Video Challenge - especially relevant as you develop your video ideas on Day 3! 🔍 The Common Mistake I'm Seeing: Many of you are limiting yourselves by only focusing on problems that your product or service directly solves. For example, if you sell cars, you might think every video needs to be about "where to buy a good car" or "needing a car urgently." 💡 The Better Approach: Think about the REAL problems your audience faces, even when your offering isn't the specific solution. This approach: - Gives you WAY more content possibilities - Creates authentic connections (not just sales pitches) - Shows you truly understand your audience's world - Demonstrates you genuinely care about helping them 🚗 Example: If You Sell SUVs Instead of just making videos about buying an SUV from you, consider broader topics like: - What makes a good SUV versus a mediocre one - Balancing adventure features with practical daily needs - Negotiation tactics when buying any vehicle - Common misconceptions about fuel efficiency in larger vehicles ⚡ Before & After Transformation: ❌ Too Direct/Salesy: "Why you should buy an SUV from my dealership" ✅ Audience-Focused: "5 hidden costs most SUV buyers discover too late" ❌ Too Direct/Salesy: "How I can help you finance your new vehicle" ✅ Audience-Focused: "What banks don't tell you about auto loans - insider tips" 🤝 Building Relationships, Not Just Transactions This approach isn't just about creating more content—it's about becoming a trusted advisor. When you consistently provide value without always asking for something in return, you build genuine relationships with your audience. They'll remember you when they're ready to buy because you've demonstrated expertise and genuine care, not because you pushed your services in every video. 🔑 Why This Works: Your clear intro (who you are and what outcome you provide) will appear in EVERY video, naturally building curiosity about working with you. Meanwhile, your helpful content builds trust and shows you understand their world.

Feeling like just another face in the crowd, struggling to prove your worth in a sea of competitors? 😔 You should try THIS... it might just be the opposite of what you're thinking! 😮 I've been there, and I know how frustrating it can be when clients don't see the true value you bring to the table. 💸 In my latest video, I share a powerful strategy for becoming the go-to expert in your space. @Jordan Blackman I believe that positive, reward based methods are best. I also believe that people do what they think is best. When they "know better / different" then they do better / different. So I try to meet them where they are at and model a better way ... but I also don't want future members to promote aversive methods.
