Hi all cool dog humans 👋 Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope everyone had a great break filled with love, family, friends, and lots of doggo kisses 🐶💋 I’m really excited for 2026. I’ve got lots of fun ideas to keep growing this space, having fun, and doing cool stuff with our doggo best friends. One thing I want to start adding in here is random dog facts — little nuggets that help you understand your dog better. Random Dog Fact: Did you know dogs make eye contact with humans way more than they do with other dogs? 👀 That’s because eye contact with people is largely a learned behavior. Dogs learn that looking at us leads to good things — information, connection, praise, rewards. You can encourage this by marking and rewarding eye contact during training. Every look is a moment worth reinforcing. Question for you: Does your dog naturally check in and make eye contact with you — or is that something you’ve had to work on? 👀🐾

Just a quick heads-up — I’ll be heading out tomorrow for my annual camping trip! ⛺️✨ I’ll officially be back in the office on Tuesday, November 4th. While I’m away, I encourage everyone to keep posting, commenting, and cheering each other on! 💪🐶 This community is seriously amazing, and I love seeing all the progress and positivity you bring to each other!! Saffy the cutest Black Lab pup is learning how to walk next to the scooter for the very first time — and she nailed it!!! 🎉 Her favorite person is on the scooter handing out treatios, which makes the learning process fun and rewarding 🍖✨ The most important thing is keeping those little feet and tail safe so they don’t slip under the scooter. That way, Saffy not only becomes desensitized to the movement, but also learns to enjoy walking right alongside it. Safety first ✅, confidence second ✅, snacks always ✅. 💕🐶

@Tawnya Thomas and her amazing service dog Harley officially gave her very first natural alert — no scent cans, no scent samples — just a real-time alert to Tawnya’s high heart rate in public!!!!! 💓🐾 Great job, Tawnya, for taking action with your sweet Harley and putting in the consistent training. It’s so clear that Harley loves playing the game with you, and watching the videos you shared honestly brought tears to my eyes!! 💛 🌟 We are ALL super proud of you and Harley. This is a huge step forward, and such an inspiring moment for the whole community. Everyone drop Tawnya a 👍 and some big congratulations for reaching this point.
