@Tawnya Thomas and her amazing service dog Harley officially gave her very first natural alert — no scent cans, no scent samples — just a real-time alert to Tawnya’s high heart rate in public!!!!! 💓🐾 Great job, Tawnya, for taking action with your sweet Harley and putting in the consistent training. It’s so clear that Harley loves playing the game with you, and watching the videos you shared honestly brought tears to my eyes!! 💛 🌟 We are ALL super proud of you and Harley. Today we had a blast with some desensitizing to hats and sunglasses. Pretty sure I had more fun than the dogs 😂 but they were all about the food + marker reward training fun! Ginny is learning how to pick up her toys and put them in a basket! Prerequisites: - Object retrieval - “Bring” - “Drop” Right now, the basket is right in front of me. She’s bringing the toys to me, but instead of dropping them in my hand, I’m cueing her to drop them in the basket. The goal is to slowly move the basket farther away so I can eventually send her to it from a distance.
