Hi all, glad to be here! "Long time" Syding follower, been investing since I turned eighteen and always trying to grow and learn more stuff, becoming more confident in my investing. Outside fo that, I work in IT, enjoy music, books and culture and try to grow as far as life allows.

How long has that investing journey been so far? I’m also here to level up and get more confident with it, somewhat 15years in and the more I learn the less i seem to know, haha. Hoping this Skool turns out to be a good ride for both of us. And yeah, Syding’s definitely a character worth following!

Hi, I rarely invest based on Excel spreadsheets and consider myself more of an amateur. Right now, my biggest positions are in a small Swedish ag-tech company called BoMill, which produces sorting machines that improve yields through high precision. And in Opendoor Technologies, an iBuying (lika Carla or Carvana) company in residential real estate—a sector where competitors have dropped off one by one, leaving them more or less alone in the space. Looking forward to learning and I hope not to bother too many of you with stupid questions. :)

Nothing of this will last. It's mostly short term noise. Sure, stock markets might fall by 50-60% from the peak, and they would still not be absolutely cheap. However, a crash of that proportion will be met by massive stimulus pulling gold, silver and crypto to super new highs, as well as the best stocks -- albeit not nearly all of them, and probably not the entire index as high as real assets. There is nothing apocalyptic over these times, but it will pay to keep a cool head, and systematically sort through the rubble with value based goggles on, rank and sort accordingly and buy the best bargains in terms of potential and risk of permanent loss of earnings power. Ask me anything, and I'll answer as best my experience and knowledge allow me to.

Nice to see you sticking your neck out. I think like you do, even though I find Trump unpredictable, that this is nothing but short time noise. As a friend said - as long as the job data stays positive, like it was on Friday, I sleep well at night. Then this is a trade war without real economic consequences.
