@Michael MacKrell hello Michael I would say the question homeowners most often ask too late is, “What exactly is included in the price?” Two quotes can look similar on paper but include completely different levels of work—proper demolition, wall preparation, flashing, drainage, matching materials, cleanup, and warranty. The lowest price often leaves out important steps that homeowners only discover once the job has started or problems appear later. Before comparing prices, customers should ask each contractor to explain the full process, the materials being used, and what is included in writing. In masonry, the work you don’t see is often what determines how long the finished job will last.
