Ever since I got my ADHD diagnosis 🧠 I've been obsessed when it comes to my physical and mental health 💪 and it has made all the difference in helping me manage my ADHD. It's the one area of your life you can truly control ✅, of course besides having to struggle with ADHD pulling in all directions 🌀 BUT it's where you will see and feel the most impact. It also creates a sense of empowerment and follow through 🙌, which is something we ADHDer's have struggled with our entire existence. In the end you won't be able to fully control when your mind decides to lose focus 🎯, but you can certainly take proactive steps to not only lessen them but also to help regain your focus when needed. My focus on nutrition 🥗 has led me to do extensive research on what's required to support my dopamine cycle and I've even gone so far as to get additional blood work 🩸 done to check additional micronutrients that were ignored in my yearly check up. I recently purchased this Quest Core Vitamin and Micronutrient Panel 🧪 and when I compare those results to my previous yearly checkup in May it's clear I'm doing pretty good across the board 📈. My vitamin D ☀️ also improved slightly which was due to my eating more salmon 🐟 and taking daily walks🚶outside in the sun . For the record low vitamin D can mimic ADHD when it comes to things like fatigue 😴, low energy 🔋, brain fog 🌫️, poor sleep quality 🛌. All of those symptoms have improved significantly for me over the past several months ⬆️. I'm also great to see that the other key micronutrients like Magnesium, Folate, Iron, Vitamin B6 are also in good standing ✅ as those are key to creating dopamine and norepinephrine ⚡
