What’s everyone doing. ? I doing trailer repairs. Need to use the trailer so figured better fix it.

So I have been thinking of do a build on a ve pump in the shop. As well as a 10mm stroker cp3

I had rob build me a 6.1 Cummins with a 600hp goal in mind for towing. I was originally going to go with the fummins compound kit from DPS but at 10k for the vgt kit I want I’m considering other options to keep the cost down. I have a 12v in my ford now would like to do the mock up on the current engine so the engine swap will go much quicker. It currently has a super b sxe 358 in it with a 0.8 a/r housing. Most kits I’ve seen offered use a 472 or 475. Can I reach my goals and have a vgt. From what I understand the high pressure turbo is the vgt. I plan on using this to tow my excavator so a combined weight with trailer will be around 20k. Do I have any options here or should just bite the bullet and buy the kit. Pipe fabrication isn’t a problem and I already have a hot pipe. Here’s a pic of my current setup and specs on my current turbo. I think I have lots of room
