@Jason Smith Thanks! Background in IT comes in handy once in a while, lol.

@Chonita Jones Now, of course, with the latest version of CalSync you don't need to turn on dev mode. If you're using Binder, you'll still need to turn it on because it still requires "root" access, I believe. If you're only using CalSync, the cloud sync works perfectly without that level of access. For me, at least. 😃
Auto updates
Question: In the settings menu if I have "Automatically push updated planners to your reMarkable" set for every 6 hours, what has to be true for this to happen? For example, I'm assuming CalSync has to be running on my desktop. Does the table have to be awake? Does it regenerate first and then push?

Yeah, my experience has been that it "just happens". I add something to my iCloud calendar from phone or MacBook and later on, it's in the calendar on my rM Move. It's *very* nice. And I no longer run with dev mode turned on.
Do You Use One or More reMarkable Tablets? Let’s Compare Workflows!
I’m curious — does anyone here use two reMarkable tablets? If so, how do you fit them into your daily workflow or creative setup? Do you split them by purpose (work vs personal)? Or maybe one is your planner while the other’s your sketchbook? Share your setup below — I’d love to see how you’ve made multiple devices part of your productive life. Let’s compare notes and maybe inspire some new ideas for getting even more out of your devices. ✍️

I've only recently become a member of the reMarkable family. Only one device, though I have a Kindle Scribe and an iPad Air with Pencil Pro. The other two devices just aren't as good for note taking as my Move. Having a dedicated "notepad" is proving to be a godsend as I become more forgetful.
A look at what's coming: reMarkable Cloud sync (in testing)
We want to share something we've been working on — and be upfront that it's still in testing. Early on, we held off on using reMarkable's cloud because we weren't sure it fit within reMarkable's service agreement. We believe we've now found an approach that respects their terms. We have it working internally, but we're still running tests before we decide whether we can release it. If it ships, here's what it would mean for you: - No Developer Mode needed to sync. Today, syncing planners requires putting your tablet into Developer Mode. This approach removes that step. - No need to be on the same network. Your planners can update wherever you are — you and your tablet no longer have to be on the same Wi-Fi. - CalSync runs everywhere, independently. It quietly keeps your planners up to date as your calendar changes. This cloud sync will most likely be a Pro feature. A note on privacy — this matters to us:CalSync still runs on your computer and stays connected. We're deliberately avoiding storing your calendar data in our own cloud. Instead, CalSync acts like a traffic controller: it watches your calendars and pushes the updated planners to your tablet as things change — so your calendar data stays with you, not on our servers. About your standby (sleep) screen:Showing your events on your tablet's standby screen will still require Developer Mode. We'll make this something you can turn on or off based on your preference. We'll keep you posted as testing continues. Thanks for your continued support — it means a lot.

This would be an awesome feature to have. Would definitely smooth the onboarding process for new users.
We are considering two way calendar support but need feedback.
Meaning a way for you all to add text on available time slots on the calendar and then actually adding and modifying events on the connected calendar(s). Do you think is valuable or overkill?

This would be a great feature to have. I could see myself jotting down notes, then creating a follow-up appointment or meeting with the device I’m already using rather than just noting a date and time to enter in my calendar via phone or Mac later on.
