Good miter saw gauges??
Hey everyone, I'm looking for some good miter gauges under $60 ... though $40 is more of a choice for me now that I'm seeing my bank, lol. Have any good choices?? Any advice/options are appreciated. I've heard that the Powermatic one is a good option.

If talking about miter gauges for table saws, Harbor Freight's Bauer is normally $60. But this weekend a 15% coupon on any single item is going on. Dropping it to $51. Vevor/Wen can be found around the $60 mark as well. I don't know of any cheaper options that are decent.

@Jimmy Webb Pretty much this. Thinking its smoke and you're burning the cut. Only to realize your hand is wet and that's a mist from the moisture of the wood that the blade is throwing off.

Cumulative amount in money and time due to agreeing to do "favor builds" for family. The, "it's a small thing, it won't take much time at all", "or it shouldn't cost much", followed by a long list that cost more in both time and money.
