@Draven Grey Hi Draven, I received access to your course. Thanks a million for that! After going through the lessons, I managed to do what you can hear/see in the video below. It sounds pretty much how I would want my screams to sound, but I am pretty sure I'm doing it wrong, as it is kinda squeezed and it had negative effect on my primary cords after a while. I'd just like to know, if I'm heading in the right direction. This is the closest I ever got to screaming. And please ignore the gibberish in the video, I was so focused on making the sound, that I couldnt think of any lyrics ๐Ÿ˜„

Hi Draven, thank you for the feedback! I guess it affected my voice cause I used to much constriction. Right now I can only access the sound through constriction and then slowly loosen it. Before I always tried to find the scream through true cord fry noise but it never sounded like a scream. Now I (at least think) that I am using the false cords to create the fry noise. It sounds beefier and gives me some resistance to lean in to. But I tend to squeeze too hard and sometimes even choke off the tone. I'll have another look at grit in full voice, maybe I find some hints there. I'm not sure that I understand the break apart thing and the crown of the head approach. But its interesting that you're saying there is a hoarsness coming from the false cords. I often have something like that. It feels and sounds like morning voice and doesnt seem to come fromt the true cords that work just fine. I always guessed that it might come from some kind of tension and exhaustion of the false cords but never found anything about it. I'll keep trying to work with your course. Thanks again for everything!

Well, why not: This is the video to the latest single of my band flat daisy. It was our first studio recording after almost 20 years and is part of 4-Track-EP. The next one is about to be recorded in november.

Thanks! Yes, both bands are definetly influences on our writing as they are two of my favourites, especially when it comes to vocals. But as most people dont know these bands here in Germany we hardly ever get compared to them, so its nice to hear that feedback :)
