Shirataki
Hi all. I was using AI to come up with a healthy version of pad Thai with no oil or sugars. It gave me shirataki noodles. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/shirataki-noodles-101. Wondering if anyone has used or tried these on the program. They are from a plant root called konjac. I’d have to actually be able to find them but let me know if any experience.

Week 1
Hi all. Getting through week one was pretty easy actually. I travelled 2 days and like another poster I made my chicken breast and burgers ahead and packed a bag of broccolini. Much easier when I can drive but will do the same next week when flying. Ask for a room with a fridge and microwave or stay in a place with a kitchenette. It takes the stress of dining out away. My weight is coming off very nicely losing 5.4, 2.6, 0.8, and 1.0 for a total of 9.8 lb off. I put on 5.2lb during loading so net I’m 4.6 lb in less than a week! It’s amazing how quick this works.
Just starting out
Hey all. I’m just getting into Fast40 and happy to report my first few days. On my loading days I gained a lot on the first day and it scared me. I trusted the process and continued on the second day eating a lot of fatty and sugary foods. I added 5.2 lb during the loading days and my first 2 days of reduction are giving me so much motivation with a total of 8 lb lost. My starting weight was 162 and my goal is 140. I’ve just turned 50 and need to be healthier. I’ll keep you posted!
