@Alex Lato As you had me up at stupid o'clock this morning for the live I headed straight outside to play before it was to hot. This video is a very short session of personal play with me not laying on the ground, upright and moving. I forgot to touch her on the butt, I will do that next session.Geez she is fun.

Here are my takeaways from this morning's live session: 1. Our emotions and joy play a crucial role when engaging in play with our dogs. 2. We can enhance our mechanical skills over time; it requires patience, consideration, and effort, but the results are worth it. 3. It’s essential to observe and read our dogs more effectively—matching their energy, learning from their cues, and knowing when to either back off or encourage them. 4. A major insight for me was that improving play should parallel how we enhance any other behavior. For instance, if I want a better indication in tracking, I should isolate that element from the overall process and focus on building it up. I had never considered applying this mindset to play before. 5. Lastly, I plan to be more attentive to when my dog initiates play and acknowledge those moments, rather than only initiating play myself. Thanks for a great session @Alex Lato
