Happy Monday, friend! 💛
I have an accountability call every Monday morning with some really special friends and business owners. This morning, when I asked for a nugget to close out on, Becky gave us something great that I am still thinking about: Event + Response = Outcome. The event is neutral. It doesn't mean anything until we respond to it. And that means the outcome - in your business, your home, your life - has way more to do with YOU than with whatever happened. That's not a small thing. That's everything. This week's mindset shift: Pick one event you've been letting mean something negative. A slow week. A no. A project that stalled. Now ask yourself, what reaction would actually move you forward? Drop it below, what event are you ready to respond to differently this week? Let's work through it together.

Every other month I have one very slow week. I mean maybe one appointment, maybe zero. And inevitably, something important happens that week that requires my full attention and I'm thankful for the down time. I also always remind myself that the week after the slow week is always packed! It's helped me to not stress about the slow weeks anymore. I just take advantage of the time to network and catch up on admin tasks.
Why Small Actions Create Clarity
On Monday we talked about shrinking big projects into simple, doable actions. Here’s what most people forget: Clarity rarely comes before you start. It usually shows up while you're moving. We often wait until: • the plan is perfect • we’ve mapped the whole project • we feel confident But clarity is actually a byproduct of action, not the prerequisite. Think of it like walking through fog. You can’t see the whole road, but once you take a few steps, the next section becomes visible. So if something feels overwhelming this week, try this reset: 1️⃣ Name the project 2️⃣ Shrink the step 3️⃣ Set a 10–30 minute timer 4️⃣ Stop when the timer ends You’re not trying to finish the project. You're just moving through the fog. Check-in: What tiny step did you take this week?

I love this! "You're just moving through the fog"
🎉 Friday Wins + Tiny Steps
🎉 Friday Wins + Tiny Steps At the beginning of the week we talked about shrinking big projects into small, doable actions. Before the weekend starts, take a moment to notice what actually moved forward. A win might look like: • starting something you were avoiding • organizing one small piece of a project • asking for help • spending 15 focused minutes on something that matters Small steps count. They are literally how momentum is built. My check-in: What’s one tiny action you took this week that moved something forward? Comment with one of these: WIN → something you completed STEP → a small action you took NEXT → the next tiny step you're planning

I watched a woman at a recent networking event introduce herself to every person in the room. It was a quick intro and she gave each person a smiley face pin. It was so seemless! So I decided I was going to do the same thing at my next meetings. I spent last week making up my business card holders and adding a card and piece of chocolate. They were a huge hit at this morning's meeting!!
🌱 Monday Clarity Check
Big projects become overwhelming when we treat them like one giant step. ✨ Ask yourself: What’s one thing that would feel good to move forward this week? 🐝 Small clarity action: Choose the smallest next step you could finish in 10–30 minutes. Open the doc. Write three bullet points. Send one message. Small action → clarity. Drop your focus below if you want a little accountability.

Ugh! Sadly I'm back to clearing off the desk once again. I started working on too many things at once and they ended up all over my desk.
Friday Wins!
Happy Friday, friends. On Monday we talked about marching into the week with intention, choosing something we wanted more of: ease, clarity, momentum, or rest. Before we roll into the weekend, let’s pause for a second. This community isn’t just about planning… it’s about noticing the progress we make along the way. Wins can be tiny. Seriously tiny. Maybe you: • finished one task you’d been putting off • asked for help or encouragement • organized one small area • took a walk to clear your mind • followed through on something you promised yourself For me, my intention was momentum. I committed to moving my body this week so my mind would stay clearer, and I kept that going. Small habit, big difference. Your turn! Comment with one of these: ✨ WIN: something you completed this week 🧭 SHIFT: something that became clearer for you 🌱 NEXT: one thing you’re moving into next week Even one word counts. Let’s celebrate the little momentum builders together.

My small win was showing up for the leads Group pickleball social. I almost didn't go! Ine thing that became clear is that you really can build relationships when you attend these types of events that are more fun and social than "networking". I'm moving into next week with intention toward my physical therapy! I'm tired of being in pain.
