This week felt really good for me! I started with a full brain dump and chose my top 6. Of course, before they were completed, a few other things popped up and got tacked on to Monday's list. But as the week went on, everything from the original top 6 was done! Phew!! This was big because I leave town tomorrow to help my mother-in-law move and I'm not sure how much work will get done next week. This week also included a couple of great meetings, one was a super fun meet up with my core group to plan out meetings and adventures for 2026. Soooo good! I'm so excited for this year! And another was more business, but with a group I love, and I set a couple of goals to accomplish in the next 2 weeks, before our next meeting. I love a good short term goal and that feeling of accomplishment! I also want to celebrate email marketing. No one replies, a lot of time it feels like I'm just speaking to a void, but this week we have a new member here because I send emails to connect with and stay in front of my people every week. One of those people shared my message with her people, and it was so great to hear that my message resonated enough for someone to share it! And the recipient took action and showed up here! I'm so excited to get to know her, as well as the rest of you! And a reminder, this is your group. Please share struggles, celebrations, and whatever else you want. Clarity in Action
On Monday, I mentioned that this weekโ€™s training is an overview of Clarity in Action, and today I want to give you a few extra nuggets from the workshop that tend to land the hardest for people. Here are a few clarity truths I see over and over: โœจ Overwhelm isnโ€™t a motivation problem. Itโ€™s a focus problem. Most people donโ€™t need a better routine or more discipline. They need fewer priorities competing for their attention. โœจ Clarity comes from choosing, not adding. If everything feels important, nothing moves. Real clarity usually shows up when you decide whatโ€™s a not right now. โœจ One clear focus beats five half-started goals.Your brain loves direction. Giving it one main focus for the next 90 days creates momentum fast, and makes decision-making way easier.. โœจ Tiny steps calm your nervous system. You donโ€™t need a big plan to move forward. You need the next doable step. The kind you could finish before lunch. This is exactly what we walk through in the full Clarity in Action training - clearing the mental clutter, choosing one aligned focus, and turning it into simple steps that actually fit your life. How are we today? Some people felt a little off on my accountability call. And honestlyโ€ฆ same.Thereโ€™s definitely some weird stuff in the air lately. I had my first bout of vertigo on Saturday and whew โ€” it kicked my bootie.Not ideal. Do not recommend. ๐Ÿ˜… And yetโ€ฆ I still feel really confident that 2026 is going to be amazing. What Iโ€™m noticing is this:People seem to be slowing down and getting more intentional.โ€œBusyโ€ for the sake of being busy just doesnโ€™t hit the same way it used to.It feels like more people are asking, What actually matters right now? And I think thatโ€™s a good thing. So letโ€™s pause for a clarity check: Comment: On a scale of 1โ€“5, how grounded do you feel today? (No explanation needed โ€” just notice.) Action:๐Ÿ‘‰ Clear one small surface you see every day. A counter. A desk. A nightstand. Nothing dramatic. Just one little reset. Sometimes clarity doesnโ€™t come from pushing harder. @Malina Peterson That's great! It really does feel so good! I bought some baby stuff the other day (hairbrush, nail clippers, booger sucker) and couldn't figure out where to put them because the bathroom cabinet was gross and filled with tons of old stuff from when my girls still lived at home, so I ended up clearing out both cabinets and cleaning them and creating a nice clean spot for baby stuff! No more digging for me either!
