(Geo)engineered to look like a climate crisis.
what - no brown eggs?
so apparently a certain supermarket are only going to sell white eggs in the future - because the hens will be smaller than standard, eat less and produce less manure. have they not heard of bantams? our Welsummer bantam lays lovely brown eggs. should we let them in on the secret? 🤣

Thank you all for such switched on comments. A relief! With you 100% on every comment. And I dare not think what theyve done with the poor chickens.
Importance of wildlife
We’ve been adding more things fir nature especially for the birds 🦅 We are 100% chemical free growers and the importance of nurturing nature is huge Encouraging bird bees and bugs is crucial as we move towards a better more sustainable growing environment 🥰❤️🙏

A heap of brash of different size cuttings and bits ofwood on the ground does a great job for all residents creatures. Planting for moths is just as important as the daytime pollinators you get to see. A corner of a garden with low lumen ground lights and their type of plants, just for them, Magic! Plants especially natives and even better some host species here and there will do alot of good. Even just a good old pile of nettles.

Slugs and snails
Hi guys I’ve been up since early this morning collecting slugs and snails from around the gardens tunnels and green house Yesterday was so hot they were all out as the sun dropped to get food and water and caused huge carnage I’m completely chemical free so one of my only defences is being there and picking them off one at a time I do use frass from Mad Company that is ground soldier ants that gives on a fragrance that slugs hate Keep a watch out guys as someone always wants to eat your hard work What do you use against pests in your countries ?

Hi, first post, hope its ok to add a comment.. They seem not to tolerate straw, hay, cut gravel, eggshells, grit, copper, wool. Im a no digger, I think this might be a key point as all over my beds I see little toad dug outs and if lucky I sometimes see one ( I love em) but rarely do I see a slug or snail. Theres voles too and birds and many more about. I made it wildlife orientated, so alot of little helpers that patrol.

@Mark Byford ooh nasty! You have an invasion. Are they, I think people call them ,Spanish slugs, if so they are prolifuc. Another idea for you, get some leopard slugs they dont eat living plants, just other slugs.

2 words - data centres. I dont and wont use AI. I think of 5 years from now and what damage its done so far. I dont want to encourage them to build more. And strangely we can survive without it.
