Okra Harvest
Did you know Okra is a fruit not a vegetable… this is my third year growing Okra and I can tell you it’s extremely delicious and healthy!

I love Okra and even enjoy eating them raw out of the garden!

@Carmen Agosto-Cruz Yep, since I don't put anything toxic on my plants, I just pop off the okra and eat them!
Seed Swap Idea
I think i have hundreds of seeds but, I think is a great idea to start a seed swap between our community any ideas.

I loved seeing your seed stash in those plastic containers. I would be interested in getting some trading going! Maybe just send a little seed pack in the mail. If it is the US and less that one ounce, it would only need one stamp.
Starting seeds under grow lights
I planted seeds inside foam cups to see if they will germinate under grow lights on top of my kitchen counter, I was very impressed with the outcome.

I really need to hurry and get my early spring seeds started indoors! I have a shelf with grow lights and I also start seeds in the aerogarden hydroponically.
Growing Mexican Gurkins
Tiny little cucumbers that are tangy but tasty they are very easy to grow a bit invasive but you can plant them in a container. I purchased seeds from Baker Creek Seeds

It's nice to hear you think they're tasty. I've heard some people say they are more ornamental than a true crop. I've yet to try growing them, but I've heard they do really well in my area, and it's not easy to grow cucumbers and squash here in Central Texas. Do you ever pickle them? I can imagine cute little pickles that look like watermelons.
Seed collection
Does anyone collect seeds? I do and is very therapeutic and fun!

Yes! I love collecting seeds and I've toyed with the idea of starting a small seed company where I train seeds to do well in my local area of central Texas. It's so theraputic. I need to collect my holy basil seeds today, they are ready.
