Getting Started in Dispatching — Any Tips for Beginners?
Hi everyone 👋🏽 I’m Rhileem, based in Delaware. I’m brand new to dispatching and joined to learn from people who are really doing it. I’m starting with dry van and I’m building my foundation in: - Load boards + lane research - Rate negotiation - Carrier packets + compliance - Trip planning + communication with drivers/brokers My goal is to become confident enough to help an owner-operator and grow from there. If you have any beginner advice or resources you recommend inside this group, I’m all ears. Appreciate y’all!

👋 Hi, I’m Nicole! Hi my name is Nicole. I live in Kansas City, and I plan on making $ 12,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1. How do I start a dispatch business? I need help understanding the steps and what to do first. 2.  How to market my business. 3. What is the best verbiage to use when cold calling? When do I get the leads from? For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  I enjoy spending time with my family on outings. 2.  I enjoy exploring new places and trying new foods. 3. I like connecting with new people and building friendships. Icebreaker joke: When I tell you I’m on a seafood diet, that just means when I see food, I eat it. If you have a joke or something interesting to share, feel free to comment.
