There is a show that comes on set in the early 1900’s that I think I would like to be the doctor in that show she was the First Lady doctor in the little town that was at first a mining town until the mine collapsed and was shutdown! The name of the show if anyone is interested.. “ when calls the Heart” it’s on super channel or Hallmark!

@Trudy Johnston yes I loved her books so was excited to watch the tv show when it came on 13 years ago… of course the show is a bit different than the books but still a good clean family show!
A little Update :)
well, looks like we'll have to get our generator either rebuilt or buy a used one, as we still haven't been able to fix it. Prasie God we're pluggeds into pwer for the summer! Our new on demand water heater just stopped working ...could be because our solor has pulled in TOO MUCH power! Hah! we're not sure...| We've been asked to help with a marriage seminar our local church here is puttig on (super excited for that!) Slowly, as I can handle the work I have started prepping for us to replace our floor (it was ruined when our old water heater leaked for months without us realizing it)... Looks like I might have some worship opportunities coming up and I started physio therapy to get some mobility back! We've also been enjoying seeing the new baby in our lives! Our Sasha is doing so well with everything the nurses have showed her and I have no doubt, in the home she's living in now, that she is going to be a great mama! WHOOOFTA! That's the short version LOL And I probably missed some stuff but that's the general catch up :) Look, Life is going to throw us things that make us laugh, cry, feel frustrated or angry...it's going to throw us ALOT! Some things easy and some not so much...But praise the Lord we have a God who LOVES to partner with us along the way! Nothing is too hard for Him, and He WILL give us what we need to get through. Sometimes He gives us strength, sometimes endurance and sometimes, we can just fell Him smiling in the Spirit all around us. No matter what we encournter, good or bad, He's there and He's got your back! I'm sooooo thankful to be daughter of the most high who doesn't have to "freak out" when things get tough....I love that I can take a breath, thank Him for His presence, and move forward in confidence that "We've got this!". Have there been any situations lately that have either pushed you closer to Him or threatened to pull you away from Him? What was your strategy to bring yourself back?

@Robin McDonald lol Lily is like me she don’t like to be cold she will lay on top of the register or where the pipes run down the length of the trailer! We got her a heating pad for animals and she will lay on that in the mornings now because furnace is not on!!
Holy Spirit consumed!
This is so very true!!! There’s something people don’t talk about enough… When the fire of the Holy Ghost truly comes upon a person, it’s not just a moment that makes you feel good or gives you chills. It’s not just tears or emotion. That fire comes with purpose. It comes to burn. It burns the sin we’ve held onto. It exposes what we tried to hide. It brings a deep awareness of just how serious sin is before a holy God. Not to condemn us—but to awaken us. Because real repentance isn’t surface-level. It’s not just saying “I’m sorry” and moving on. It’s when your heart is broken over what once didn’t even bother you. It’s when conviction runs so deep that you can’t go back to what you used to be. “Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted…” (2 Corinthians 7:10). And when we truly repent—when we lay it all down—He meets us there. He cleanses. He restores. He fills. “Repent… and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). That’s where everything begins to change. Your desires shift. The things you once chased don’t satisfy you anymore. The pull of the flesh is still there, yes—but it doesn’t own you anymore. You’re no longer a slave to sin. You’ve been given a new nature. “For sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14). “Having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” (Romans 6:18). And now, there’s something new in your heart—a desire to please the Savior. To live in a way that honors Him. To make the Father smile. Does that mean the fight is over? No. We still wrestle with this flesh daily. We still have moments where we must choose obedience over comfort. But now, we have the power we didn’t have before. Power to say no. Power to walk away. Power to overcome. “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16). And every time you choose righteousness over sin—every time you deny your flesh, resist the enemy, and stand your ground—there is victory. Real victory. Not the world’s version… but the kind that strengthens your spirit and draws you closer to God.
