Team Race - Anyone Down?
@John Drucis and I just signed up for Ironman 70.3 Gulf Coast. Figured it could be fun to get a group together for anyone else interested! We can train together and then rip it as a team in April! Let me know if anyone is down!

This one is fun! Let me see if I can talk my buddies (and wife) into this one! 💪🏽
Welcome to Athlete AI. Introduce Yourself!
Glad you're here. I'm Kevin, an ultrarunner & triathlete (Leadville 100 was my most fun race). I'm not a tech guru. I got curious about AI, realized I could build training tools tailored exactly to me from my own data, and it actually worked. Now I want to teach you to do the same and connect with people building cool things in fitness with AI. That's the whole idea: learn something genuinely interesting, build stuff that's truly yours, and do it alongside like-minded people. Zero coding required. Five steps to start: 1. Introduce yourself in the feed. Something like: "Hi, I'm Steve, I run trail ultras and can't wait to build with AI!" 2. Complete the intro poll so we know we can build the content around what you want: Athlete AI Poll 3. Watch Start Here course (top of the Classroom). Two minutes. 4. Do Day 0 in the 7-Day Challenge: Set Up Your Workshop. 5. Post in Wins as you finish each day, tagged (#Day0Ready). We celebrate every one. The setup day is the hardest part, and we get everyone through it. Stuck? Post what you tried and someone (often me) will get you unstuck. Let's build. Follow the road to The Rut.

@Kevin Rudd @Roeland de Graaf happy to share over some ideas. I’ll add some more details to the post I made and tag you!
Integration with Obsidian
Have anyone found a good way to use Obsidian to make the "coach" eaven better?

yeah im with Kevin on this... obsidian is just a markdown native repo/folder structure. If you create md files on your own you can use any folder structure/storage. I use SharePoint and Google Drive for my knowledge work. I keep all my working files in markdown which both SP and Drive support, and if I need something different (HTML, PPT, doc, etc.) I am not switching containers to spin that up, plus drive is free, MCP connection is easy. Curious if you (Carl) have seen obsidian provide value outside the markdown native, folder structure?
Race-specific AI training package
Hi All! I have been thinking about posting this for a while now, and finally have the time/confidence to get it out there! I ran the Big Horn 52 miler back in June and to help prep for the race I used AI, of course. I was able to pull in the GPX file (the files the models can read is wild), aid station details, schedules, basically the entire website (some of it I pulled down, otherwise a URL seemed to work fine) and then my historical Strava events. With all that info I came up with a fuel plan for drop bags, and then even got a prediction of my time for the race and it ended up being a scary close to what actually happened on race day! So, that got me thinking about more pre-built package for a specific race, not generic AI coaching, but something built around that race: the course, the terrain, the aid stations, an agent-guided training plan (if you had someone who did the race before, ask them questions and then include that brain dump with the flies) tailored to that race, aimed at people running it for the first time. Curious what this group thinks: - Would something like this actually be useful to you, or is finish-time prediction just a fun gimmick? - If it existed for a race you're training for right now, would you want it? - What race are you training for? Maybe there are others in the community (or outside the community) who would benefit from a plan like this. - What would make it feel like a "must have" vs. "neat but skippable"? Im interested to hear what others are doing in the space and if you have done something similar or had the thought, Im happy to share notes! LV
Seedance AI Video Guide
@Luis Velasquez sorry for the delay in getting this post summary out! I made it last week, but was behind on posting the summary here. Check out the ai video creation guide here: https://www.skool.com/athlete-ai-community/classroom/c89bd042?md=277c1fd846ed46c1a47630704ea00a6e My process is fairly straight forward and it comes down to two key pieces: 1) get a good starting frame (and ending frame if you want to predict outcome) - I use GPT Image2.5 as its the leading ai image model 2) then prompting correctly, which seems easier than it actually is. These models all act a specific way. So learning how to use camera angles and imagery descriptions really does help The guide has the full walkthrough of my process, so feel free to play around! @Jan Daghelinckx would love your opinion on it too!
