Acid Reflux
Hello everyone, I just had a question for the community that I believe would be interesting and worthwhile to discuss. Have you ever experienced acid reflux during your swimming in your lifetime? If you have, was it ever severe so that you had to take action to reduce it? For me it’s not a major problem at the moment but sometimes occurs.

Regional qualifications
Yesterday it was the last day for regional qualificafions and i did my Pb with 1.14.99 in 100 breaststroke! Very happy for that even if the time for the nationals is 1.14.68! I Will work hard to do it at the final of the region!

Regional qualifications
I finally reached a Pb swimming 200 IM which I was not supposed tò swim (My Trainer switched 200 br with 200 IM by mistake) . Finally after so much Plateau I did something and was happy..but 100 br ...bad again ( +1sec my Pb) probably there was a mistake in the time counting ? My time came After a while ... Anyway I got qualified for regionale competition (100 and 50 br, 200 and 400 IM). I am strongly try not to identify with the results and looking tò long term results but It Is hard when there Is no social fun in the team either now.... Sad!

📰🧨 BREAKING: “Pain Is Part of Life. Suffering Is Optional.” Swimmers & Parents React.
Last night I was watching one of the best video podcasts I've ever seen (and I studied 100's) with 2 very big names. (If enough people comment their opinion below, I'll share the video in the community.) Here's what they said: "Pain is part of life. Suffering is optional." What's "pain"? And what is "suffering"?? Comment. Discuss. Rdy? Go!! 👇 PS: If you're reading my posts like an eagle 🦅 but have never engaged in the community yourself, this is your chance to move from 💤 Drifter To 🔥 Believer and unlock the Nutrition Masterclass in the Classroom. All you need is 5 likes on one of your comments.

Pain is a feeling of discomfort, unease and displeasure that can be mental or physical. Suffering is the perception of this pain as a threat and as something that shouldn’t be happening right now.

Hi everyone, my name is Luigi, I’m not a swimmer’s dad but just a 17 year old middle distance runner who also likes swimming and would like to learn more and know how to best improve myself in the world of competitive endurance swimming. I’m very happy to be here.
