The Decision You Make Before the Decision
You know that thing where you talk yourself out of something before you even give it a real shot? I see it constantly. The promotion application that never gets submitted because "they probably want someone with more experience." The business idea that dies in the notes app because "the market is too saturated." The conversation that never happens because "they'll probably say no anyway." We become fortune tellers of our own limitations. But what if the story you're telling yourself isn't actually true? What if the real decision isn't whether you'll succeed or fail... But whether you'll give yourself permission to find out? Your brain will always have an opinion about what's possible. But your heart knows what's worth trying. What's one thing you've been talking yourself out of lately? I'm genuinely curious.

Thank you for writing this piece, Yoshie.🥰🥰🥰 I’ve read it last week and the reflection questions helped me decide to go for applying and trying something new.
The Lotus Path 🪷
This morning, holding my tea, I noticed how tight my shoulders were. The familiar tension from pushing too hard, too fast. Have you felt this too? The pressure to transform everything overnight? I've been thinking about lotus flowers lately. They don't force their way open. Each petal unfolds when it's ready, revealing beauty that was always there—just waiting for the right moment. Maybe our growth works the same way. Maybe the changes that truly matter don't come from force, but from creating space for what wants to emerge naturally. The world tells us to hurry. Our inboxes demand urgency. But underneath all that noise is a quieter rhythm—the steady beat of our own knowing, the gentle pace that honors who we're becoming. What if instead of pushing harder, we got curious about what's asking for gentle attention in our lives right now? Sometimes the most profound shifts happen in the quiet moments between all the rushing. What area of your life is calling for gentleness today? 💭

Yes, I feel it. Last night after we talked… Rhank you for checking in on me, Yoshi!🥹🥹🥹 … I noticed that I’m wanting to transform my whole life overnight and no wonder I feel like a pressure cooker inside. I’m pressing myself to be more aware , better, more confident and then remembered: Trust that it’s working out in your favor. Trust that the universe has something in store for you, better than I can imagine in this current moment. And all the weight fell off my shoulders after I cried and let go of controlling the outcome.

Oh and talking about gentleness, I neglected my gentle heart. I’m creating, pressing myself and today is the time, I’m swimming laps in the military pool, again. I said it for 4 months and finally I’m doing it. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨💖🥰🙏
When Your Mind and Body Pull in Different Directions🧠💫
It’s something I see often. That subtle, uneasy feeling in the body when the mind says one thing—and the rest of you says another. You tell yourself it’s fine. You plan. You push forward. But something tightens. A hesitation in your chest 💬💔 A tension in your jaw 😬 A heaviness in your shoulders 🎒 And underneath it all? That quiet question: Why can’t I just move forward? Why am I hesitating when I already decided? This is more common than people talk about. Especially for those who’ve been trained to lead with logic 🧩 To stay on schedule 🕰 To push through doubt 💪 But the body doesn’t work on those terms. It doesn’t follow “shoulds.” It follows truth. ✨ When your self-image—the identity you carry in your mind—no longer matches your deeper values, your body lets you know. Through resistance. Fatigue. 😓 Fog. Or even over-efficiency that starts to feel strangely disconnected. I once worked with someone who looked clear and capable on the outside. She was organized 📋 She kept things running smoothly. She had strong practices. But her body was sending other signals. Uneasy sleep 🌙 A constant low hum of tension ⚡ A quiet pull toward stillness she never felt allowed to take 🍃 What we discovered together wasn’t about mindset. It was about the gap between who she thought she had to be—and who her body knew she already was. No amount of routine could override that. And no mindset trick could quiet her body’s wisdom. 🌿 What helped? Slowing down enough to listen 👂 Not just to thoughts—but to felt sense. Noticing where tension lived. Noticing what softened when she honored her own timing ⏳ She didn’t have to change everything. She just had to reconnect with her inner signals— and rebuild her rhythm from the inside out 💫 I see this often: People living in their heads because it feels safer 🧠 People overriding their body’s wisdom because it doesn’t fit the plan ❌ People trying to keep up with an inner voice that’s no longer theirs. But your body always knows. And when your actions misalign with your values or identity, it tells you—

Yoshie, what you wrote applies to me. I noticed this morning that my head said relax and my gut said move. I had a hard time connecting with the gut and listened to my head. So I relaxed outside, connected with friends by responding to their messages and got some light stretching in outside. I feel better now than a couple hours ago. Your post is a good reminder for me to check in with myself!💖 Thank you 😘😘😘😘😘
Time Isn’t the Problem—Attention Is
Always busy but still overwhelmed? You might not need more hours—just more presence. Multitasking scatters your energy, splits your focus, and leads to burnout. Instead, choose one task. Remove distractions. Give it your full attention. Then pause. Breathe. Reset. This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters—without losing yourself. Reclaim your focus. Restore your rhythm. One task, one breath, one step at a time.

Marketing Feels Like a Mountain—But It Doesn’t Have to Be
Starting a business feels big enough. And then, on top of that, everyone tells you: “You have to market yourself.” “You need a social media strategy.” “You need to be consistent.” Suddenly, it’s not just about doing the thing you love. It’s about mastering content, branding, SEO, email lists, and—oh yeah—showing up every single day. For a new entrepreneur, that pressure is enough to make you freeze. What if you say the wrong thing? What if no one cares? What if you’re just… bad at it? Most people do one of two things. They wait until they “feel ready” (which never happens). They force themselves into a strategy they hate (which burns them out). Both lead to the same result: silence. And silence doesn’t bring clients. But here’s the thing—marketing isn’t a formula. It’s a conversation. And the best way to start? Do what feels natural. Love writing? Post your thoughts. Love talking? Record a short voice note and share it. Love visuals? Snap a behind-the-scenes photo and write a caption. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t even have to be good. It just has to be you. Because confidence doesn’t come from getting it right. It comes from getting started.
