🌙 A Card for the Path 🌙 Today, I pulled The Nine of Swords. Traditionally, this card is about anxiety, sleepless nights, and the heavy burden of thoughts that feel overwhelming in the dark. It is the card of worry, of the shadows that grow larger in silence, of the inner turmoil that can feel more crushing than any outer circumstance. But here’s the deeper current I feel within it: The Nine of Swords reminds us that our minds can be both protectors and tormentors. This card doesn’t deny that pain is real—but it highlights how the mind amplifies it, replaying fears and regrets until they feel inescapable. The Nine of Swords says: these swords are sharp, yes, but they are not endless. You can set them down. It calls us to interrupt the cycle, to reach for grounding, for support, for practices that bring light back into the room. It whispers that while suffering feels solitary, you are not truly alone, and the dawn always follows the darkest night. Reflection Where are you letting fear or regret loop endlessly in your mind? Today, pause and name one thought you can release, one sword you can lay down. Allow yourself rest, knowing that clarity and hope will return with the morning light. If you feel called, share your own card pull for the day—or simply share the inspiration that you received from this post.

Not a card of the day, but my rune of the day was Othala. And with that I have dedicated time today with ancestral bonds and laying ground work for prosperity to my dwelling.
I’m asking for your courage!
I need your help. This space isn’t just another group—it’s a hearth fire I’ve tended into being, but it only becomes real when others gather at its warmth. My passion is to make this more than a page you scroll past. I want it to be a true community, a sacred ground where we dare to show up as we are. I know the tremor that comes before posting—that hush of fear before you step into the circle of others. But courage doesn’t arrive fully formed; it grows when we speak, even a small word, and find that others answer back. Each post, each comment, each hello is a thread. And together, those threads become the weaving that holds us all. So I ask you: help me make this space alive. Share something—your favorite color, the season that feels like home, a hobby that lights you up, or even just a simple hello. And when you see someone else daring to share, meet their courage with a like, with a kind word, with presence. This is how we kindle the fire. This is how a group becomes a home. Together, we make the Mystic Path burn bright.

Sharing to keep the energy alive, but here's my altar set up from last night (I try to change it up in-between cleansing). Few days post Mabon but gonna keep the gourds for a bit til I can extract the seeds for some other work I have planned. Great to see community come together here! May today be kind to you all

Discussion Post: Eclipse Season Reflections
This is a discussion post for the Fireside Gathering article. You can find it in the Classroom under The Fireside Gathering to read the full piece before sharing your reflections. Eclipse season always has a way of stirring things up… shadows rise, endings surface, new paths start demanding attention. For some, it feels heavy and exhausting… for others, it cracks something open that was long overdue. I’m curious—how is this eclipse season moving through your life right now? Do you feel the weight of it in your body, your emotions, your dreams? Or do you notice it more in the practical shifts—relationships, routines, boundaries being tested? Take a moment to reflect and share… how do eclipses affect you? What patterns or lessons are you seeing? And how are you working with the energy this season brings?

I've been just continuing a spell I started at the buck moon, but I've also been laying layers of protections as shifts in my sun sign are most definite going to be eclipse related over the next few weeks. Eclipses normally affect relationships and situations in my life, but have been known to give me very distinctive dreams as well
What is your Spiritual Path?
This is a Discussion Post for the Fireside Gathering. Today’s Question: What is your spiritual path? The Fireside is where we share our stories, ask questions, and connect with one another. This prompt is here to spark conversation, so jump in and let your voice be heard. Tell us about your path: - How do you describe it (if you choose to)? - Has it shifted over time, or stayed steady? - What practices, rituals, or values root you most deeply into it? - What draws you most to the way you practice? There’s no right or wrong here—just your experience, offered to the fire. Add your spark, listen to others, and let the connection grow.

I consider myself an eclectic Unitarian universalist witch (a mouthful I know). It has shifted over the years, from starting in wicca, to paganism, to eclectic paganism, to where I am now. My roots are in rune divination, mediation, and putting my craft to use for those who truly need it. Being eclectic, there's many things that pull me in the directions I'd go, but I'd have to say I follow my root chakras energy into the way I practice.
Who is your God/dess?
Who Walks Beside You? Some of us feel called to a single god or goddess… others find a whole pantheon resonates… and some walk the path without any divine faces at all. There’s no right answer here… only the one that fits your soul. If you do have a preferred deity or pantheon… I want to know how that connection began. Was it a dream, a synchronicity, a story that reached out and wouldn’t let go? Did they arrive in a time of need… or did you go searching for them and find recognition in their myths? Tell me what it is about your god, goddess, or pantheon that draws you close. Is it their story, their symbolism, the lessons they bring into your life? Or maybe it’s the way they show up in quiet moments… when you least expect it. Share your experience… how you met them… and what keeps you walking with them today.

My deities are Apollo, and Minerva (Athena). Apollo and I have worked together for the past ten years. Minerva came to me in a meditation session while I was in college, but ever since middle school history I always felt a pull towards her. Apollo came during a time of light and prosperity to me during a meditation session in a local park of mine. Minerva came during a time of change, and strategy was needed. Over the years there have been times I've had to be accountable and walk my own path, but they have always come back to me when I have stepped back onto the path in which is to be followed. What keeps me walking with them is the principals they have instilled in me, and our work we do together.
