I'm back!
Hey everyone 👋 It’s been a couple of months since I last posted here, but I’m back and excited to get this group moving again. The mission hasn’t changed: helping you get out of the grind of low-paying lessons and start building coaching setups that give you more income, more freedom, and better students. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing more resources, stories, and strategies that have worked for me and other musicians. My goal is simple: make sure you’ve got a clear path to turning teaching into something that actually supports your music, instead of draining it. 👉 To kick things off, I’d love to hear from you: What’s the number one challenge you’re facing right now with teaching or finding students online? Awesome! I find this group to be super important. This music world we are part of is quite unstable and trying to make a living in it can bring up many doubts... having a community of like minded people with a similar goal is such a valuable thing. Looking forwards to share and lear ways to gain more freedom and build solid systems! :)

@Jacob Evans I have a personal website(not sure if sharing it is against group policy) where I offer potential students a free trial lesson. to get traffic on the website I started by using Facebook ads which worked wonders in the beginning but then just suddenly stopped.. go figure.. and lately I've just been printing out stickers with an eye catching logo and the website address and have been sticking them wherever I go, I'm also lucky enough to have good friends that live in Amsterdam, New York and London so I hand them out to them when I meet them and they also give me a hand with it. This sticker strategy has worked wonderfully! they are very cheap and once you stick them somewhere they'll last virtually forever.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Phase 1 Complete
I've just finished uploaded the complete action steps for Phase 1 including videos (nothing over 6 mins long) and the master worksheet for you to follow. This include in-depth step-by-step for how to decide who you should teach and how to learn about the goals and frustrations of your ideal students to create an offer that RESONATES with them so you will NEVER have problems getting students. As you move through the steps, post in the group for feedback or any questions you have and I'll do my best to help you out. Now it's time to get started on Phase 2...

What's your specialty?
Did you guys go through Jacob's classroom videos, where he talks about finding your focus? For example, 'I help classical violinists develop confidence in an orchestral setting'. Quite satisfied with "I help beginner drummers build rock-solid foundations for a lifetime of drumming". Just finished phase 1. I've got a new draft for my website's content that is going to not only be infinitely better than what I currently have, but that will also reflect me as a person and a drummer much better than the shitty generalist stuff I've got on there now! ahah! Amazing stuff, can't wait to see phase 2!
