FREE Live Event for this Skool Community on Building Community!
Tuesday June 30th at 9 AM PT Hey ladies — I'm doing something a little different on June 30 and I want you there. I'm hosting two live conversations with @Kelly Howard and we're going straight at the question I hear from founders in this community all the time: can I actually build a paid community without turning into a content machine? Kelly's the real deal here. She grew a membership from 25 members to more than 1,000 with almost no ad spend, launched and sold two others, and now helps founders build what she calls sustainable membership businesses — through The Membership Marketing Lab. We're running two sessions — one on Skool, one on Substack — because I genuinely think the platform you choose matters, and I want to give each one a proper look. We'll get into the marketing, the retention, the community building side, and how to put it together in a way that doesn't require you to post something every single day and pray the algorithm notices. (Because wow, is that a miserable way to run a business.) Both sessions are free. Both are open to everyone, so bring people you think should be in the room. . 📍 Building Community (Skool) Tuesday, June 30 | 9:00 AM PT | 12:00 PM ET https://www.skool.com/live/JwlSZkfhZQy 📍 Building Community (Substack) Tuesday, June 30 | 3:00 PM PT | 6:00 PM ET https://open.substack.com/live-stream/229294 See you there!

That's nice and thoughtful to offer two different times in the same day to attend.
Moving from Claude to Claude Code
Step 1— Get a summary of you (in the Claude desktop app) Open the Claude desktop app, start a new chat, and paste this: Summarize everything you know about me, my business, my goals, and how I like to work into a clean, short context block. Sections: About me, Current projects, How I like to work, Definition of done. Keep it tight and factual — plain text, no emojis, no fluff. You'll get back a clean block of facts about you. Copy it. Step 2 — Hand it to Claude Code In the desktop app, open the Claude Code panel (same window) and paste this in — drop your copied block where it says: Here's a summary of me and my work: [paste your block here]. Save this as my global memory (CLAUDE.md) so you read it at the start of every session. Put this rule at the very top: "Always give me the next concrete action I can take today. Never tell me to interview people, survey, or do market research — I learn by shipping, not talking." Then show me what you saved. Hit ENTER. 🎉 That's it — Claude wrote and saved your memory for you. You never had to know where it lives. Open Claude Code tomorrow and it already knows you.

Yay! There's so much to think about and check the boxes of. It's nice to learn another strategic, time-saving tip. Thanks, @Viveka von Rosen
Building Community - Free webinar on Tuesday June 30th at 10 AM MT
I'm super excited to be hosting @Kelly Howard on Tuesday, June 30th. This training is available to everyone, not just premium members! You can see and sign up in the calendar link above. 👆🏻 Kelly Howard is a membership marketing consultant who has spent decades on the inside of membership businesses — building them, growing them, and selling them. She grew one membership company from 25 members to 1,000 with almost no ad spend, started and sold two others, and now helps founders do the same through The Membership Marketing Lab, part of her Marketing with Heart brand. Kelly specializes in helping experienced founders build paid memberships that fit their actual business — not a content-creator model that demands constant output. Her approach combines smart marketing strategy, community-building, and retention systems that work without requiring you to be everywhere all the time. On June 30, she joins Viveka von Rosen for an honest conversation about how women founders with real expertise actually build paid communities — and what it takes to make them sustainable. And here's how you can add the event to your calendar: https://www.loom.com/share/9e86cd669dde46f1a8a76a7665b774cb

Hi @Kelly Howard I'm so happy @Viveka von Rosen is hosting you to bring us your invaluable information. And I'm also looking forward Viveka's can own experience, too. My biggest challenge right now with my own little 15-member Skool community is lack of participation. It's likely a combination of: A.) I don't know what I'm doing to grow engagement. B.) My members (who are also friends and have attended my AI workshops/presentations) also don't know what to do here on skool or how to take advantage of my availability as an expert (to them I'm an AI expert but inwardly, I feel like I'm continually drinking from the firehose).😃 I am also curious about having both the free path and paid membership path exist together and how to decide what perks/benefits live in the paid area and which should always be available to the free members/everyone. Thanks very much!!! 🥰

Free training for everyone! How to Build a Paid Community Without Becoming a Full-Time Content Creator
Most community-building advice assumes you want to be an influencer. You may not want to. You're a founder with decades of expertise behind you, and you want a community that fits your business and your life. Join me and @Kelly Howard on June 30 for the conversation about how women founders actually build paid memberships when they have a real business to run.
