Chapter 1: The Opening Round – Burgers, Braai, and Bravado The stadium buzzed with excitement. Flags from every corner of the globe waved in the wind, grills smoked, and the scent of spices from every continent filled the air. Today wasn’t about borders, politics, or treaties. Today was about food, pride, and savage roasting. USA strode to the center, holding a burger stacked so high it threatened to topple over. On the other hand, a steaming plate of mac & cheese gleamed like molten gold. “Step aside, amateurs,” USA boasted, grinning. “Burgers, mac & cheese, fried chicken… if it’s not deep-fried, it’s not worth eating. Who’s ready to bow down to flavor?” France glided forward elegantly, a croissant in one hand, a glass of wine in the other, lips curled in amusement. “Bow down?” France sniffed. “Mon dieu, your burger looks like a science project built by a toddler hopped up on sugar. That yellow cheese? Truly inspiring… not.” The USA smirked. “Oh, France, don’t cry over my cheeseburger. Your fancy bread and wine can’t even fill a stomach without a nap afterward.” France’s eyes narrowed. “Better to nap full of finesse than to wake up with heartburn from your grease-soaked disaster.” Before the USA could retort, Japan stepped forward with a tray of sushi so perfectly arranged it looked like a work of art. “Your food is loud and chaotic,” Japan said calmly. “Skill is subtle, precise, and balanced. Each sushi roll tells a story. Your burger tells a horror story.” check my ebook a little of it hope you love it
