Inspiration
Where is your go-to place or ritual for inspiration? I usually take a walk, and if that doesn't help, I head to the beach. For some reason, for me, being out in nature helps my mind focus.

@Zigmars Berzins San Diego, CA, USA - I 100% get that. I swim, and that is the time my mind can solve all the world's problems 😂no distractions.

Newbie Questions
I am new to fiction writing of any type although I have done research and bought the Backlist Bundle. I just generated my first book and it turned out great! However I chose a medium sized book and it came out at 43 pages which is much shorter than I would like. I wish I had chosen "Epic" even though you warn against it. My question now is: how do you edit a book once it is completed? I chose the AI model and just clicked "continue" on everything. Does that mean you can't edit the book once it is completed? Is editing allowed only in full length books? The results I got from my first attempt were perfect, except for the em dashes, and maybe something I am not aware of. So it would be good to have access to editing capability. If that feature exists, how do I access it?

I use Claude to check for story inconsistencies, then ProWrite or AutoCrit for editing. I like those because they compare it to other books in your genre, highlight the problems, and give me a "score" on how I am doing with the changes I am making
Anyone ever write a non AI book to understand whats needed from AI?
I am wondering how many of you have attempted to write a book without using AI? I’m currently at a 50/50 split. While the "real" manual process definitely takes longer, you can still use AI to proofread and identify errors that might negatively impact your reader ratings. Beyond that, the time spent building a fiction or non-fiction book entirely on your own provides invaluable insight into exactly what to look for when you are refining your AI-assisted work. I realize some people simply download and upload raw AI-generated content, but true quality comes from you—the person on the cover next to the words "written by." No matter how good Zigmar makes this platform, for the foreseeable future, tone and personality must come from the human touch.

I use a combination of "me" writing and AI. I will switch back and forth a few times during the project. I have seen some books that are 100% AI-generated, and they don't even appear to have been read before publication, with obvious inconsistencies and errors.
Backlist Bundle
Thanks for putting together the Backlist Bundle. Haven't finished them all yet, but already learned some great stuff!

@Joe Wadas, I guess it might depend on where you are in your writing career, but for me, a few of them were spot on! Definitely worth it in saving me time and energy.

Writer/Author/Publisher My life may be a little crazy, but it's allowed me to do what I love daily. Everyone should go and live out their daydreams.
