What shoes does everyone rock!?
These were my main shoes last year, but I used to wear Vapor’s for the first 5 or so years indoor and outdoor! Left to right TC pros (for crack climbing) 5.10 mocsassains (slip on warm up/ chill shoes) Skwamas (my try hard shoe) I’ve been using unparalleled Quincy’s for the last 5 or so months and really liking them too. Curious what everyone else is wearing??

I have been using the Mad Rock Drone 2.ONE LV and they have been amazing indoors for bouldering. So far I have not gotten into a position where I wished I had a different shoe. While they aren’t the best at everything they do everything pretty well.
Belay Devices?
I’ve been climbing and belaying with my ACT for a few months now but I’m thinking about upgrading to a grigri or neox. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I have used an ATC and grigri for TR and lead. I would say stick with the ATC bc it gives more control with lead climbing falls and is lighter than the grigri if that is something that bothers you. Also grigri's are quite expensive.
What shoes are you rocking?
Curious what shoes everyone is wearing? Left to right I have TC Pros, 5.10 moccasins, la sportiva Skwamas. I used to wear scarps Vapor’s for a few years too! What about ya’ll?

I use the evolv defy and geshido. I really like both of them and they have worked super well for me.

Some friends of mine invited me to the local gym and I was hooked on it instantly.
Jaclyn Intro
1. Home gym is The Pad in Binghamton, NY. I travel to Washington DC quarterly and still determining a "home away from home" gym (movement crystal city is what I'm leaning towards) 2. Hoping to learn technique. I'm at the point where I know the basics but I want to have a more refined climbing style. 3. I want to flash a v3 climb this year. I can flash v2s at home and at other gyms but I definitely need multiple sessions to figure out the v3 routes. 4. I love the puzzle aspect. Mentally it gets me off of screens and I spend an hour just being present in what I'm doing.

Hi Jaclyn, I love that you mentioned getting off the screens. Climbing is such a good way to leave them behind and be in the moment. I climb at the Movement Grapevine down in Texas and a few others in the Dallas area, and I love them. Having access to any gym in the US is awesome, and the Movement brand has a lot to offer outside of just climbing. They are a little pricey, but I think it is worth it for climbing, yoga, and workout classes all in the same place.
