Tiger nut milk - creamy dairy alternative
Ok, this is one of my favourites so everyone needs to know :) It is so versatile and extremely well tolerated milk alternative, I am a bit obsessed. Despite the name, tiger nuts are not nuts at all. They are small root vegetables (tubers), making tiger nut milk naturally dairy free and suitable for people with lots of sensitivities. I do a lot of food compatibility testings with my clients and work with lots of food sensitivities and this one has proven to be the best tolerated. The taste is naturally sweet with a mild, earthy and neutral flavour. The texture is smooth and creamy. Unlike the other milk alternatives like almond, oat, rice milk that dilute your drink down, this one actually adds to your hot drinks. You can enjoy it in smoothies, coffee, porridge, chia pudding, baking, or simply drink it on its own. It is very versatile and tolerates Heaton without splitting. Nutritionally, tiger nut milk provides fibre, healthy fats, vitamin E, potassium and magnesium. It also contains resistant starch, a type of fibre that helps feed beneficial gut bacteria and supports digestive health. And lastly, here in Australia, the Madame Tiger sells the version that has zero nasties in there, no seed oils either. This company hires women in Africa so that's another reason to support them. You can find this is health shops or order online. Have you ever heard about this? Have you tried this yet?

I'm loving it in my coffee. I've tried different almond milks in the past and just didn't like the taste. I have been using the Tiger Nut milk Barista for past two weeks and it's definitely a hit with me. I have been buying it from the health food shop in Brookside but Harris Farms sell it and will deliver, but there is a delivery charge.
2-8 Feb 2026: How To Navigate Healthy Eating When Life Gets Busy
Hi everyone! 💛 One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that many people actually know (in general) what healthy eating looks like. The real challenge usually isn’t knowledge — it’s what happens when life gets full, energy is low, and we haven’t prepared ahead. That’s when old habits tend to come back in. Another important thing to remember is that we all have patterns. Certain times of the day, certain situations, or simply being tired can make us more likely to reach for quick, less supportive foods. Once we start noticing these patterns, it becomes much easier to plan around them instead of feeling like we’ve done something wrong. Busy periods are part of life, so the goal is not perfection — it’s having simple systems that help you stay on track even when things get hectic. So pick one of your go to habits thats not so healthy and focus on chaning that around. Step at a time :) Inside the premium section this week, I’ve included: • A video " How To Eat When Life Gets Busy, Simple Tips" where I go deeper into staying organised, recognising your patterns, and understanding when we’re most vulnerable to making less supportive food choices. • A PDF "Quick Meal Guidelines For Busy Times" a guide with practical ideas that help you prepare ahead and make healthy eating easier during busy times. • This week’s meal plan, which now includes quick recipes and ideas for snacks, breakfast, and lunches/dinners — so you always have options ready when time is short. If you haven’t downloaded the SKOOL app yet, don’t forget — here’s the link to stay up to date with all the content, guides, and videos https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skool.skoolcommunities&hl=en_AU

Great tips Kelli. Just a question about the cinnamon tea...is it loose leaf or in T-bag form?
