I gave up the puzzling for the season and switched to diamond painting. It's to hot for brainwork. 😅 I'm looking forward to autumn and winter.

@Sam Carrington It's like paint by numbers, but with tiny plastic stones. I'm doing Lord of the Rings-themed ones at the moment. You don't have to think too much. The stones just need to be placed in the right spot. That's doable even in this heat.

I love landscapes and skylines. They are quite hard sometimes but the beauty and the details motivate me.

I think it could be fun participating one day. It seems like a comforting community. But for me puzzling is relaxing and I don't want to rush it.

@Sam Carrington Absolutely agree. I came across this website http://myspeedpuzzling.com where you can track your times. I really enjoy scrolling around there and celebrating other people's results. Some of the times are really insane. It does motivate me a bit, even if that usually doesn't last long before I slip back into a more relaxing speed. I want to enjoy the process and the picture. I like the idea of starting a group event like that though. Might be fun to motivate each other with more achievable results. 🫣

Hi, thank you! 🪷 I'm German so please excuse my mistakes. 🫣 My go-tos are 500 and 1000-piece-puzzles. 300 is ok, if I love the picture. My husband brings one for me now and then from the exchange shelf at our local library. At the moment I'm working on this lovely puzzle. I really like the design (loved the artist when I was younger), but it drives me crazy. 😅 Much harder than I expected.
