New technology always comes with backlash. I remember being in high school when we all started using the internet and we were told not to use it for assignments etc and that books were how we needed to do our research. People were scared of it because it’s new. Creativity also evolves with technology. Disney animation used to all be drawn by hand and now we use computers and other tech. Photography too. Film developed in a dark room is now images on a laptop. I do think we need to put things in place to make it ethical and improve its environmental impact though.
