We are thrilled to officially announce that @Louis Carrillo has become our newest SOHMA Tai Chi Certified Instructor! Louis has long been a leader in our community, always going above and beyond to help his fellow students and instructors. Beyond our school walls, he has been a vital force in spreading Tai Chi throughout Long Beach. He has been leading at our free community classes at Heartwell Park and teaching Tai Chi at the YMCA. I even learned that he has been substitute teaching for one of our other graduates at the JCC. We are incredibly grateful to have such a high-caliber instructor and dedicated leader among our ranks. As we close out the year, we have one very important milestone to celebrate. Since we recently launched this new platform, we wanted to make sure we officially recognized @Jeff Coats for graduating from the SOHMA Tai Chi Program this past August! Jeff has shown incredible discipline and heart throughout his journey. We are so proud to see him reach this milestone and complete the program. Aloha! I became a certified instructor with Dr. Daniel / SOHMA in Long Beach. I have since relocated to Honolulu and have only done a few group practices. If you are ever going to be in Honolulu look me up so we can do a Tai Chi practice. I'll be out of commission Dec. due to knee replacement surgery but hope to do solo practices mid-late January.
