Just wanted to share a victory! Boooom!! I started making phone calls in January and have sent out a few contracts to be signed. I realized after sending contracts that I didn't do my due diligence when talking with the customer. This last one, I did a much better job of asking important questions (are you the only heir? is there a will? etc.). Got my first contract signed and am working on submitting the application. Next steps, I'm going to be shifting from excess proceeds to state funds. Looking forward to working on some bigger accounts!
