Monday Method
How do we offer support to those around us? Sometimes people are venting and then we problem solve for them (when they didn't ask for it). Sometimes people are looking for problem solving and we just give them space (again when they didn't ask for it). So, 1) how do we offer support to those around us? and 2) how do we let others know the support we are looking for? Here's a method I developed that allowed me to actually offer help in a productive way (and also how to express the needs I had myself when I went to others with my 'things'). The video below gives a breakdown of how to offer support to someone in need in the forms of: - A listening ear - A sounding board - Problem solving - Space Or said another way that I've used A LOT in my TikTok LIVEs Are you looking for... - Support - Encouragement - Validation - Advice What do you all think of this method? Does it resonate? Have you tried it out? Let me know what you think is your go-to way of NEEDING help and your go-to way of OFFERING help!

@Tyler Buckingham such a big difference!! My sister has a tendency to want to tell me what to do and I will let her know “right now I am just venting “.

@Tyler Buckingham of course…..currently I just start out with “I’m venting just need you to listen”….doesn’t always change but at least she knows. 😉
Sunday Scaries...
What's scaring you these days? Your feelings? Job opportunities (or lack thereof)? Financial worries? Not belonging to a friend group? Starting a new gym routine? For me, it's finances. I'm not where I'd like to be with my income, or coaching clients, or financial stability (being an adult is TOUGH sometimes) and am looking at other job opportunities due to the way things are. And so, if I have a fear or worry or concern... what. am. I. going. to. do. about. it? Complain on the internet? Let people know alllll of the problems I have? Double down on a pity party and feel sorry for myself? OR... Do I seek out answers, clarity, direction, support?? *Like we do in this community* Thankfully, I'm choosing the second option ✌️ I have already made some huge waves to improving the spot that I'm in and not only getting more coaching clients, but also, opportunities I had never even considered have appeared at my door. “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist (my favorite book!) So... what is your ONE thing you are scared of right now? Not two or three or seventeen. ONE. *do not post more than one thing you are scared of - you've been properly informed* Comment below! My ONE thing is: I am afraid to relax and do nothing or not as much as I could/should (not sure who is going to check my work) as I have typically linked my self-esteem to my output of getting things done.

Okay, so now I have changed my mind about my ONE thing (honestly I don’t know that anyone has ever asked nor have I ever said it out loud) I am afraid I am not embracing the joy(s) of daily living. However, if I journaled 🤦🏻‍♀️it might make a difference!!
Self-Care Saturday
What does self-care look like to you? Hiking with friends? At-home, spa day Saturday? Journaling at the park? An intense workout followed by a donut at your favorite coffee shop? Maybe it’s hanging out with friends after a grocery store run? Whatever way you choose to fill up your cup, how you manage your stress matters. You will have stress endlessly in your life — how do you manage it? You can use this guide below (from our Start Here course with the correct file name there lol) or make your own! Let me know what you’re doing today in the comments below 👇

@Tyler Buckingham I started reading some of the Jack Reacher books that dad likes. Plus a new Wings of Fire book I got to borrow from Finley!

@Tyler Buckingham love the movies and the (hard copy) books.
Quality Quotes
I saw these and had to share! My favorite is definitely “sometimes what didn’t take place is the most important thing that happened.” Which one is your favorite??

Hmm 🤔 my favorite might be the one about “the right time”. There is just “time”!
Wellness WINS-day
And just like that, we are back to our WINS-day 🏆 What’s going well? What are you leaving behind? Where are you focusing your energy and time towards? A win can be as simple as: I ate two fruits today. Or as grand as: I closed a massive sale for my company. Or as powerful as: I didn’t text my ex. Or as honest as: I’ve been struggling lately, but I didn’t cope with bad habit. A win is a win is a win. We don’t need to diminish them if they don’t seem ‘as large as’ others rather… we need to allow ourselves the permission and respect of honoring even the smallest wins (because we can’t actually appreciate the larger ones without them). Win small. Win big. Win. What are you all winning this week?

@Tyler Buckingham so wild! For me if I don’t have to leave the house I would rather be more casual and comfortable. But it sure changes how I feel!
