Medicinal Herbs
Where can I find marshmallow root and nettle to grow? Seeds or plants. I don’t see anything at Star Nursery or hardware stores.

@Kc Kaleo those are it! Thank you. I was hoping to find something local to avoid shipping fees, but I see now they are too specialized.

I transplanted them about 2 weeks ago. I used a soil mix from Viagrow landscaping that was recommended for my raised garden beds knowing I had no existing dirt to mix it with. I had extra so I put it in the planter box outside.
Starting garden on new property
So I was forced to move from my lovely soiled house and the soil difference is uncanny! It’s super rocky and not very nutrient dense at all! Any tips y’all have to make the soil better I am planning on doing a huge raised bed but idk where to even start looking for good soil to add to the bed!?? Any info would help greatly

What city? I’m in Vegas
Newbie
Hi, my name is Linda. I’ve lived in Vegas most of my life. I have 5 fruit trees that were planted in the fall. I’m now prepping to grow an entire vegetable garden. My goals is to keep my plants alive and have a great first year harvest.

@Dee Hew I have peas, sugar snap, kale, broccoli, tomatoes, squash, onions, herbs… you name it! I went crazy on the seeds. I’ll need to look up how to harvest seeds so that I don’t need to buy any next year.

Hi, Vegas resident here for almost 30 years. I’ve always planted flowers, but this will be my first year starting a full vegetable garden in my new house. Eager to learn how to ensure my garden thrives.
