There's a song with similar lyrics but it also talks about influencing your children by what you see and hear. I know how hard it is to get something out of your head once you have allowed it to be there too long. For me if I dwell on something someone says to me it begins to block out what God/Jesus says about me. And I begin to believe what the person said and forget what God says. It will begin to crush my spirit and break my heart. Then I will start to pull myself, with help, out of that hole I've dug and remember that God's words are real, true and worthy of believing and not what anyone else says.

In 2015 when I broke my shoulder and came home from rehab I suddenly found myself in a situation I hadn't expected to be so hard to manage. I struggled with no help for weeks before I was finally able to get even a little help. It was a nightmare.
