@Linda Fenwick it scares me too. It probably scares most people to some extent. There's no magic pill. You're not going to just wake up one day and suddenly have the courage of some great evangelist. God wants to train you and prepare you so in any situation you can say, " Here I am. Send me." Start small. Listen to that small voice, that prompting, to go strike up a conversation with that person you're standing in line with; help that elderly person load their groceries into their car; assist that kid who can't figure out where the water dispenser is on the pop machine - all recent examples from my own life. Share the love of God where you think you should with even a small gesture or statement. Are you going to miss the mark sometimes? I do all the time. It's okay. That's how we learn. The more you step out, the more you listen, the more you just try, the more opportunities you will be given, the more the doubt slowly disappears. You can even share Bible verses on platforms like this - lol. Be honest, be true, strive to always accurately represent God's interests and not your own. It's a daily commitment. I hope that helps. I pray I didn't miss the mark. WARNING: If you start doing this, the Spiritual Attacks will increase (because you are no longer silencing yourself). Don't go in there alone. Pray for God's Protection - you'll need it. It's scary, but it is what God has called us all to do. TOTALLY WORTH IT - God guarantees it. "The harvest is plentiful; but the workers are few."
