Today's message is simple. Find what brings you joy, happiness, and love in everyday life, no matter how small. Make a list you can look at daily that will make you smile. Look at it every morning before you even start your day! It sets the tone. Here is why and how! What we focus on is where energy flows, so if you wake up and you're not consciously aware of where your brain is autopilotly going, it could be resting on regative vibrations, worry, stress, dread for the day ahead, and the list can go on. If you start your day in low dense energy like that, how do you think your day is going to shape up? If you do this day after day without awareness, how do you think your week will shape up? Your month, year, and years? See how the autopilot can really impact your life as a whole? I hear it all the time: "How do I get out of that RUT? "I get it; I lived here for years with no awareness at all, thought I was fairly happy but worried about my life, dying early, having family die prematurely, financial stress, work stress—the list went on, and my energy was in the toilet most days, months, and years. This is a simple technique that won't move mountains today, but over time it can start to calm your nervous system and shift over time. Step 1—Make it an intention to start noticing what's on autopilot and how you're thinking and feeling specifically. Start documenting on a small pad that you can carry with you all the time. Not what makes you frustrated, stressed, overwhelmed, or emotional. What are the good parts, along with the bad parts? Document it all. Step 2—Start TODAY and build on it. Start your Happy/Joy list. It doesn't matter how big or small, how crazy or funny it is; write it all down on a special piece of paper or journal. As you map step one, add the good parts to it. Mine has things like blue sky, night skies, northern lights, stars, moons, animals (domestic and wild), smells in the air of flowers, fresh-cut grass, my clean vehicle, my daughter's laughter and smile, my husband's smile and quarks, my eyes, smile, and laughter, the joy on someone else's face when I smile at them, when strangers treat each other well...my list goes on.
