Advice plz!
Had a consult call with a potential client. She said she was a 10/10, but has to talk to her husband, then got back to be and said “I’m great” but “just to be safe” they want to interview two other doulas. What do I do?! I was thinking of saying something along the lines of “I cannot guarantee my availability” and invite her to join my pregnancy circle instead. Thoughts ?

I am going to try to use some of these tips to respond to a mama as well. I had a consult call with her two weeks ago where she was super excited and said she definitely wanted to work with me, I let her know that I would send her a portal invite with the contract and service agreement and she said it all sounded great. I checked in with her a few days later and she said she was away on vacation that week and would look everything over upon returning. I checked back in again yesterday and this is what she sent me- It caught me totally off guard!

@Elizabeth Wein Yes I feel like I messed up by not having something for the moms to fill out right away while on the call, but this mom was so affirmative and seemed excited so I did not second guess it.

Looking for advice
Confidence is something I definitely struggle with, but I've been working on it a lot. There is one particular question that always trips me up. When a potential client asks "how many births have you supported?" I'm pretty new to this and have supported only 1 mom so far. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to frame it while being honest, but not highlighting the lack of experience.
